?FREEDOM OF PRESS IS VITAL AND SHOULD NOT BE UNDER QUESTION AFTER ALL ?SAMNA? (A Marathi daily) QUESTIONED, BEING A PRESS ITSELF AND ALLEGEDLY SUPPORTED THE ATTACKING IBN-LOKMAT OFFICE AT VIKROLI RECENTLY AS IT PUBLISHED SOME NEWS AGAINST SOME POLITICAL HOOLIGANISM? ? ? In India today we have six out of seven fundamental rights, after amendment of Article 19, by deleting of Art.19(1)(f), of Indian Constitution.
It is also stated Supreme Court need not rely on American constitution for the purpose of examining the seven freedoms contained in Article 19 because social conditions and habit of Indians are different.(Pathumna v. St of Kerala AIR 1978 SC 771*; see also Jagmohan Singh v. St of UP, AIR 1973 SC 947 , 952).
The requirements of Reasonableness, (no general pattern possible)( St of Madras v. VG Rao, Air 1952 SC 196, 200; Santok Singh V Delhi Admn AIR 1973 SC111091, 1095), Art.14, unreasonable necessity of nexus (arbitrariness, or unguided or uncanalized restrictions vested in such power is treated as unreasonable restriction) on rights guaranteed under Art 19(a test of non compliance of either Art 19(5) or (6), (Collector of Customs v. Nathela Sampathu Chetty AIR 1962 SC316). Discretion vested in an Administrative Authority not properly controlled, - unreasonable, Municipal Corporation v. Jan Mohd. Usmanbhai, AIR 1986 SC1205.
Necessity of nexus (direct and proximate nexus) is also treated as a frustration of fundamental right. (*, Kochuni KK v. St of Madras, AIR 1960 SC 1080).
Judicial Review: Restriction imposed by Legislature is subject to judicial review, (Chintaman Rao v St of MP AIR 1951 S C 118, : Babu Ram v Bajnath Singh AIR 1962 SC 1476). The Courts will examine the underlying purpose of the restrictions imposed, the nature and urgency of the evil sought to be remedied?, (ST of Madras v VG Rao AIR 1952 SC 196, 200: Narendra Kumar v UOI, SAIR 1960 SC 430.)
Procedural and substantive ? Courts will examine aspects of restrictions. Procedural fairness requires the observance of principle of Natural Justice,? although it may be excluded by necessary implication.(Haradan Saha, v St of WB(1975) 3 SCC 198?.)

Natural Justice: Principle of Natural Justice is a ground to determine the reasonableness of a particular restriction (Earlier held Natural Justice would not apply where Order is administrative in nature).It has been held that even administrative orders have to comply with the requirements of natural justice.(Kraipac A K v UOI, AIR 1970,SC150)( READERS MAY NOTE ISSUE OF EXCLUSION OF PRINCIPLES OF Natural Justice IS A SEPARATE TOPIC REQUIRES CAREFUL STUDY, (Jain & Jain, Principles of Administrative Law 4th Edn.,( p.219 ? 294); Wade , Administrative Law 7th Edn pp463 -570m, see also commentaries on Art 14..)
Due Process of US though not directly applied and yet various tests of reasonableness laid down in, Art 19(2) to 19 (6). This Coincides with tests of ?due process? clause of American Constitution, though it is not identical in Indian Constitution. The latter is deliberately avoided in view of its flexibility and vagueness IN FAVOR OF A MORE DEFINITE WORD ?REASONABLE?. Therefore care should be exercised before literal application of American decisions.( Collector of Customs v Nathela Sampathu chetty AIR 1962 SC 316).
In this connection, it is ideal to refer by interested to read details for six principles well summarized by Saghir Ahmed J in the case MRF Ltd v Inspector, Kerala Govt. (1998) 8 SCC 227(set out in para13 of SCC).
Similarly 11 principles on the nature of restrictions summarized in Papanasam Labor Union v Madura coats Ltd., (1995)1 SCC 501.
Supreme Court on Art 19 and other constitutional provisions, over ruled on ?not inter related stance? in AK Gopalan v St of Madras, AIR1950 SC 27?, in its judgment in Menaka Gandhi v UOI AIR1978 SC 597, holding they are inter related.
Patanjali Shastri held in AK Gopalan v. St of Maras, AIR 1950 SC 27, that ?freedom for free Indian citizens? is well guaranteed but it is not so in the case of a citizen who committed a crime and he is lawfully deprived of that freedom under Art 19. And still it is valid position. So abetted crime alleged cannot enjoy that freedom and so Samna as a non citizen and its editors are looked as allegedly committed crime when they attacked the Lokmat-IBN, and their further advancing their view that attack on the Press is further abetting the crime and are punishable for alleged offence by a court of law, after all no body can take law into his own hands to do whatever he likes.

Freedom of speech and Expression in the Indian Constitution is also a freedom of press, as most of the Articles of the Indian Constitution is clearly written down and Indian Constitution scrupulously followed American and Irish Constitution and British Constitution?s basic rights, the view one can take is more or less the view of Thomas Jefferson?s is a replica of Virginian Declaration of 1776 and it said..?Freedom of Press is one of the greatest bulwarks of Liberty and can never be restrained (in democratic constitutional countries) and it added ?The Liberty of Press is Essential to the Security of Freedom in a State, it ought not be restricted and accordingly First Amendment to American Constitution restricted the Congress from abridging freedom of the Press and clearly associated ? ?associated Freedom of Press?.
It will be interesting to note Thomas Jefferson wanted to unite two streams of Liberation- English and French Schools of thought. . He held the view that he government provide both security and opportunity for the Individual and for that he needed active press is essential as a way of educating people.. ?To work freely Press must be free from control by State?.
Thomas Jefferson suffered great calumnies from the pres and still he in his second address to Congress said -?Government could not stand up under criticism deserved to fall. ?Those ways of American founding fathers of American Constitution clearly electrified Indian founding fathers of Indian Constitution and influenced and galvanized them?.
So freedom of Press is well recognized in India and most of the suceeding Indian governments recognize this important factor as Press is the educator of people of what is going on..?
Incidentally Samna is also a press and it can speak out on policies frankly and fearlessly but if it wants to enjoy that freedom it should equally allow other fellow press men too similarly; and their reporters, newsmen should have been the part of newsmen gathered to decry attack on the Lokmat-IBN and that should have been a landmark.
Samna should at all costs not lose the freedom of press and preserve the liberty of press and it should not be a part of libertine movement please.
Editors should work for press freedom and that will be healthy trend and that will heal many a problem of people please. (Ends)

Adam Smith said ?When National debts have once again accumulated to a certain degree, there is scarce ?a single instance of their having been fairly and completely paid. The liberation of public revenue is, if it has ever been brought about by bankruptcy, sometimes by an avowed one, but always by a real one, though frequently by a pretended payment. The raising of denomination of the coin has been the most usual expedient by which a real public bankruptcy has been disguised under the appearance of a pretended payment.?

Here we see the following - national debt?. accumulated? to a serious level of scarce?. Liberation of public revenue to meet public bankruptcy? (A real one) by frequently pretended payment?rising of denomination of coins (a most expedient method) leading to bankruptcy leading to pretended payment.

This is the new story if variance is to be at 145% now.

How the government will be able to tackle the deficit remains to be seen without raising the denomination of coins/currency with the assistance of RBI?

If that is so it is a real wonder. Now according to current budget document Rs.326515 crores is expected to be the revenue generation but budget estimated expense is expected to be 133287 crores of rupees. There is a tremendous gap

Yes he has to ensure credibility of budget exercise. Else the FM will steep the government into deep bankruptcy, which will have deep inflationary trends that will affect ?aam Adhmi? (poor man) very definitely, just because he cannot get essentials of living at affordable price. Then it is leading to stag-flation. To rectify it will take at least a decade by a conservative approach, so that the gap may return to ? 15% by that period.

The variances are due to excess demand from various ministries, under one program or the other.

This is due to estimates of expenses anticipated is actually much higher to revenues generation. Does it mean he will impose taxes to meet the deficit whether that could equal estimates?

If imposes taxes commensurate to estimates, whether is it possible to levy so much multi dimensional multi point taxes? Whether the people are able to pay in these days of excessive consumerism through various means, like credit cards, bank personal loans, refurbishment expenses? It is anybody?s guess it is not possible just because savings are in fact depleted and only debt burden is like albatross on everyone?s shoulder.

If taxing not possible he will have to resort to raising denominations of coins to compatible to estimates by printing/minting currency /coins.

Another alternate is to cut down excessive unaffordable growth expenses. In fact FM is caught between Scylla and Charibdis.

So the ministries will be asked to budget for essentials and ambitious expenses in the name of prodigal spending for unnatural growth.

Yes, there are a lot of expenses which are not very essential spend in this year. The FM has to see all essential commodities are made available at affordable prices to man on the street, to save him from the imminent death due to starvation.

He can afford to exorbitantly charge taxes in non-essentials of living like cars and such other luxuries like palatial houses, business class travels and the like. Only who could afford would go for such luxuries. Yes, rich man has become richer and wealthy has become me filthily rich in the last about a decade. Further whether he could meet all the needed revenue. Again it is a billion dollar question.

Yes, he has to weaken Indian rupee to dollar at least by 50%, so too with other General currencies like Euros, UK pound and the like strong currencies. If done, imports will become very dearly costly unless commensurate exports are mooted. Yes, there is world competition in pricing in usual commodities and nobody is going to buy your exorbitant priced products.

Further you have increases already in salaries and wages of government servants thanks to pay commission recommendation. Again you are going to increase Military salaries and wages, so too in other areas too. Overall increases in every other sectors of economy will neutralize these increases.

Thus there will be vicious cycles of increases in salaries of protected work force but how are to address ?aam Adhmi?, a paradox.

Anyway per force you have to prune the expenses if to save the economy. Your hands are tied up on growth expenditure unless you market so called private public partnership and some divestments in PSUs both in union and state levels.

You cannot any longer allow unaffordable houses or flats buildings, to allow people to showoff and they have to deploy their excess monies into productive areas. Else they will also lose their edge in the economy, just because we are inheriting over heated economy. You will work on economies of scale. Wasteful expenses are to be contained.

Mr. FM you have inherited tough situations as previous FM(s) just spent moneys obtained through revenues. You are facing another situation of concessions to salaried employees. You have to continue FBT ? fringe benefit taxes, on all excess salaries paid out.

And yet your hands are highly tied!

Advice from experts: Surviving a disaster: Controlling our fears ? a review of book ?unthinkable by Dr. G. Balakrishnan for the benefit of readers
Q&A with Amanda Ripley, author of The Unthinkable: Who Survives When Disaster Strikes ? and Why
As we go about our day-to-day lives, disasters are far from the minds of most people. But 90 percent of Americans live and work in places where there are significant risks for earthquakes, tornadoes, floods, hurricanes, terrorism or other natural and human-made disasters. When a life-or-death situation occurs, some people do better than others. In the midst of a disaster, many people panic, while others assume leadership roles. Some people emerge as heroes while others simply freeze.
APHA?s Get Ready campaign recently interviewed award-winning Time magazine writer Amanda Ripley, who has criss-crossed the globe to cover some of the most devastating disasters of our time. In her recent book, The Unthinkable: Who Survives When Disaster Strikes ? and Why, Ripley offers insight into how our brains work during disasters and tells us how we can increase our odds of surviving. ? What happens to us in the midst of a disaster and why do some of us do better than others?

We literally use different parts of our brains instantly in a disaster. Everything changes. As one Sept. 11 survivor said to me, ?You don?t ever want to have to think in a disaster.? He knew that because he had experienced the complete change that occurs when you are in a life or death situation. So literally you lose peripheral vision, your heart rate increases, your blood pressure goes up, you get an injection of stress hormones which help you perform physically, but actually make it much harder to perform cognitively, so you have a lot of trouble making decisions ? even simple decisions ? or processing new information. So the reason some of us often do better than others in a disaster usually has to do with what was in our brains before everything went wrong, because you won?t be able to really progress much from where you were once things go bad. So it really depends on what you had in your head as far as what to do, how to do it, when to do it, before everything went wrong.
How can we overcome weaknesses and boost our odds of surviving in a disaster?

The more familiarity you have beforehand with any of your major risks and how to get out of them, the better you will do. For example, if you know that you live in place that is at high risk for flooding, which is true of many millions of Americans, then the more thinking you have done about what you would take with you, how you would evacuate, when you would evacuate, how you would deal with your elderly mother ? all of those things are not going to go very well if you wait until you are under stress ? you are not going to make great decisions. So the more you can feed your brain with plans and thoughts and even execute some of those plans in advance, the better you are going to do.
In general, we have certain weaknesses when it comes to assessing risk and performing well under stress. We also have a lot of strength, but if we can understand what the weaknesses are in advance, then we can do a lot better. One of the biggest weaknesses is that we tend to move very slowly under extreme duress, and the more we have done in advance the more quickly we will push through that phase and perform appropriately.
Why do so many of us shut down or freeze in the midst of a disaster?

This is so common, so pervasive across every kind of high-stress event. I have talked to firefighters who have many tales of people freezing up, all the way to stockbrokers who have seen it on the trading floor during a stock market crash. You see it across all kinds of contexts, and you actually see it in every animal that has ever been tested in a laboratory setting. This tendency to shut down or freeze is, in my mind, an evolved defense mechanism. It is so powerful and so common that I don?t think we would have evolved to this state unless it served a purpose. In many particularly ancient kinds of threats, shutting down in a life or death situation, where your body goes numb, you stop moving, you look like you?re dead, could be an appropriate response if you?re getting attacked by a saber-toothed tiger, for example. But in more modern situations, it is not as appropriate. We need to understand this better because it?s the kind of thing you can overcome, and it?s very, very dangerous in events like fires or plane crashes. We?ve seen this many times, we know that this is a bigger risk than almost any other behavior ? certainly much more likely than panic ? so we should start planning for it in advance.
In your book you talk about the ?survival arc? that we all must travel to get from danger to safety. Can you explain a bit about that?
Across all different kinds of disasters, from sinking ships to burning buildings, people tend to go through three phases. The first phase is a powerful kind of denial, where your brain works quite aggressively to normalize what is happening, to downplay the threat and make sense of what?s happened based on everything that your brain has seen before. It is a perfectly normal response, but it can take up precious time. The second phase after denial is deliberation. Most people become extremely social in disasters. They look to each other for cues and advice and information, and that is also a really important phase, but again, it can take up a lot of time if you don?t push through that phase efficiently. The third phase is the decisive moment, where people take action based directly on what?s happened in the denial and deliberation phases. Sometimes it?s the appropriate action and sometimes it?s not, but often we only know that in retrospect.
Are there any specific traits that might predict how well we will do in a disaster?

Among the many survivors I have talked to, the people who have military training or even Boy Scouts training tend to perform a little better in a lot of situations. But more important is not the training but the culture, the whole outlook on life. Research shows that if you have what?s called an ?internal locus of control,? so you believe that you influence your destiny, then you tend to do better and recover more fully in a lot of situations. If on the other hand you feel like you are kind of at the mercy of fate and are in a more passive victim role in your day to day life, then that could be problematic because you?ll be less likely to take action and can have trouble recovering. It?s not 100 percent for every situation, but those trends tend to play into it. So the more you feel like you?re in control of your destiny and the more confidence you have in your ability to affect change, the better you actually do. It?s very much a self-fulfilling prophecy.
Are there any simple ways that we can train our fears and thoughts to help us survive in a disaster?
There are simple things you can do that are taught to first responders and elite military units, and they basically are not that different from yoga. Anything you can do to ramp down that fear response so that it doesn?t overwhelm your ability to think will help. We know that the most effective way to influence your subconscious brain is through breathing. With controlled breathing, for example, you breathe in for four counts, hold for four counts, release for four counts, hold for four counts and you repeat, over and over and over again whenever you are under stress. It could be mild stress, but it?s something I practice all the time, in traffic and so forth. This is the kind of thing that is actually taught to swat teams and Navy Seals. It is extremely effective in helping you control the physiological response to stress.
In your book you mention who the real first responders in a disaster are. Who are they?
Talk to anyone who has actually survived a disaster and they will instantly tell you that they were the first responders. Since Sept. 11 we have become very reliant upon first responders. We spend a lot of money equipping firefighters, police and so forth and that is all well and good, but the reality is that in major disasters, those people are not there, they just can?t be everywhere at once. In big disasters, regular people do the majority of life saving, so the people you work and live with are the first responders and I really think that this is probably the most important lesson I have learned in covering disasters over the last decade. If we continue to focus on the experts and not the public, we are not going to get any better at this. We really have to focus our energy on the people who are always first at the scene in every disaster and that?s regular people, so continuing to pour billions of dollars into equipping first responders, and not equipping and training the public is, I think, a mistake.
When it comes to hurricanes and other weather-related risks, we often overestimate ourselves. Can you explain how?
The three major risks that I consider the most under-appreciated but significant risks that most Americans face are fire, floods and lightning. Those are things that, because of the way we are wired, we don?t spend a lot of time worrying about in advance. We don?t really stress about them. We stress about things that are less likely to happen, for example our kids getting kidnapped, or terrorism attacks or shark attacks. But these are things that are extremely unlikely for most people. There is only so much attention we all have to spend in preparedness, so it is important to really prioritize. What are my biggest risks? It obviously depends on where you live and how you live but certainly we know that disasters are getting more frequent and more expensive in this country, largely because of wind and water events. We live in these dense, vertical cities near water, so we really have to try to focus our minds on things like floods, and also fire, which generally kills more people every year than all other disasters combined.
In your book you talk about ?group think? and you note that our best chances of survival are usually improved by sticking together. Why is that?

It seems to be an evolved reality because you see it in mammals as well. Chimpanzees, for example, when they are under a threat, will form groups and show each other affection. They also become very hierarchical and pay even more attention to the leader than normal, and this is also true of humans. The reality is that in disasters, we don?t turn into the kinds of hysterical mobs that we see in movies. We tend to actually show each other great courtesy when things are going very bad and that should be enormously reassuring to people. I can?t tell you how many times I?ve heard this from survivors ? people who have been in terrorist attacks, people who have been in enormous fires ? they always marvel at how well most people behaved. In general, the crowd does not really like panic, does not like people who are screaming and out of control, and the crowd will snuff that out pretty quickly, either by helping that person or minority of people or by aggressively telling them to stop. So generally, people form groups and that is helpful because you need information more than almost anything else in most disasters. Ten brains and 20 hands are better than one brain and two hands.
What is the biggest mistake made by the people in charge of protecting us?
Again and again, the people in charge of protecting us tend to underestimate the ability of the public. They think that people will panic if they are given frightening or potentially frightening information. They think people will loot or misbehave and I can?t tell you how many times this has come up. Even in my conversations with high-level emergency preparedness officials, there is among every group of experts a belief that they know better. I think this is just part of human nature, but it is very dangerous when it comes to preparedness. The reality is, usually you may know better but you?re not going to be there. The tendency to think that regular people will not perform well is often misguided. Regular people perform much better on average than we expect. So we really need to enroll regular people, engage them creatively, listen to them in advance and have them literally at the table when we are making decisions about emergency evacuation drills, about how to prepare for biological threats. They literally need to be at the table or else a natural bias will warp our planning and we will end up with emergency plans that are written for emergency responders.

Advice From APHA Experts: How to create a healthy emergency stockpile
Q&A with Capt. Laura A. McNally, MPH, RD, FADA, a dietitian with the U.S. Public Health Service
Much has been written in the media lately about the threat of pandemic flu. The flu virus that causes a pandemic can spread easily from person to person and may cause large numbers of people to become ill and die. In the event of pandemic flu or other natural disaster, your local officials might advise you to shelter in place, which is a precaution that aims to keep you and your family safe in your home. To prepare for such an emergency, you?ll need to have created ? in advance ? an emergency stockpile of healthy foods.
To help you make the healthiest choices when planning what will go into your stockpile, the American Public Health Association recently sought advice from Capt. Laura A. McNally, MPH, RD, FADA. McNally is a dietitian officer in the U.S. Public Health Service and chair of the Emergency Preparedness Task Force for the American Dietetic Association.

When it comes to stockpiling, many of the obvious foods that come to mind, such as canned soups and vegetables, are high in sodium. How can we pack foods that are healthy?
There are many options available today. The low-sodium, low-fat canned foods that are available are ideal for stockpiling. Things such as canned soups ? Healthy Choice makes one option or Campbell?s makes another low-sodium option ? these are good choices. Other good choices for canned foods are those foods that are packed in their own juices, such as canned fruits. You can buy vegetables that are low in sodium, and those also would make very good options. So when you are looking for low-sodium foods, there are many options now available in canned products.
How about crackers and chips?
Crackers and chips tend to have more sodium. Given that you potentially would have a limited water supply or juice supply, you will want to stay away from salty items such as crackers, nuts and chips, although we recognize that those are comfort foods and may be the kinds of foods that many, children in particular, will want to have. You don?t have to avoid them totally but you can buy non-salted nuts, you can buy low-sodium crackers and you can also buy low-sodium or no-salt chips, so it?s not impossible to have those in your stockpile.
How much water should we plan on including in our emergency stockpile?
The recommendation for water is that we have one gallon of water per person per day. This is for food, drinking and personal use, such as brushing your teeth. You can possibly have water supply in your home at that time, but you do want to make sure that you also have an extra stockpile. So at very minimum the one gallon of water per person per day is recommended, for at least a three-day supply, and for pandemic flu it may be much longer.
How often should you rotate your water supply?
Your water supply does need to be rotated because bacteria will build up in it. Water is stamped with a date on it, and what I recommend is that you actually (use) stickers. Whether it is for water or other foods in your emergency supply kit, take a sticker and put the date on it that you put it in there and then if you use a regular rotation schedule, you will be able to look at the date that it went in, and make sure that at six months you look at the expiration date that?s been stamped on it. And also with canned goods, inspect for any signs of bulging or anything like that on the lids, to be sure that the product has not gone bad on you. But it is important that you rotate your water on a regular schedule.
How often should foods be rotated?
It is a good recommendation, just as you would change the batteries in your smoke alarms every six months along with (changing your clocks, to rotate) your emergency food supply ? your foods and your water. It?s a good idea to put that as part of your practice?that way you would have a trigger point and you would be able to remember to rotate these foods and if you put the sticker on it with the date that you put in it, you know how long it?s been in your kit, and you might even put a trigger in there, ?Needs to be removed at six months,? or ?Okay for one year.? But many of our food products now have expiration dates on them, and that will help us make sure that we?re not storing foods that go bad on us. Peanut butter is one that can go rancid, so it is important to rotate your foods.
For storing your stockpile, what kinds of containers work best?
There is no particular container that we are recommending, however I do think it?s a good idea to store your food in maybe a big, plastic bin that has a lid that is secure, because you want to make sure if you?re storing it, particularly in the basement or in the garage or in a location where there is potential for rodents or bugs to get into it, that the lid is sealed tight and will prevent anything from getting in there. The other thing you want to do is make sure that you store it in a place where the temperature is pretty stable, and that you don?t have extremes of hot or cold, which may impact the quality of your food.
What are some of the healthy foods we should include in our stockpile?
We recommend things that require no refrigeration, little or no preparation, no cooking and that require little or no water added to them, because you don?t want to take your water supply and use it with your foods. Many chicken, tuna (products), things like that, come in these vacuum-packed sealed containers, which are much easier to store than canned products. But for proteins I usually recommend canned meats or chicken, canned tuna, salmon -- those kinds of things. Canned beans make an excellent source of protein. They generally are low in sodium and require no cooking and can be added to many things, so I always recommend various kinds of canned beans, as well as your canned fruits packed in water and vegetables with no added salt. Along with this I would recommend protein and fruit bars. These are especially important for children because it gives them something sweet to eat, but make sure you are buying ones that have some nutritional value, not just (those with) chocolate and other added things that don?t give it as much value. Other things would include dry cereals?granola ? that is something that is important for your kids. Peanut butter is always a very good staple, and dried fruits or trail mix. Nuts, as long as you buy the unsalted variety, are good for snacking as well as a protein source. (Also) low-sodium crackers, your canned juices, and you always want to make sure that you have some kind of non-perishable pasteurized milk or dried powdered milk available. And vitamins, because your nutrients in your foods will not be necessarily what you would get if you were on a regular diet.
How about infants and children? Any special considerations for them?
If you have infants or very young children, you need to make sure that you include the infant formula as well as extra water for reconstitution, or better yet, cans that are already constituted. And for young children, foods that they are interested in eating, (such as) finger foods, your canned fruits, vegetables?Vienna sausage even may be more appealing to a young child. And then last of all, your comfort and stress snack foods, because we?re going to need those. Those are a little harder to plan. You don?t want to put chocolate in there if there is a potential for it to melt. But make sure that you do put comfort foods, especially for pandemic flu, because you may be confined to your home for longer than a three-day period and you?ll want to make sure that you have foods that your family will be able to eat during periods of high stress.
How about a can opener?
Fortunately the sealed packages don?t require a can opener and many of our cans do have pop lids, but absolutely a can opener is an essential element to have.
When creating our stockpile, for how many days should we plan?
The recommendation is a three-day supply, however, as I said, with pandemic flu and having to shelter in place, it may be that you need to realistically plan to have food for at least a week. If (officials) do recommend sheltering in place, the schools will be closed, day care will be closed, after-school programs will be closed and you may find yourself with your family at home for a much longer period of time.
Any special concerns for people with special health issues such as diabetes or high blood pressure?
The main thing to consider with those kinds of health issues is that they have adequate supplies of their medications, whether it be insulin or pills, and that they have any other health supplies that they need for their particular condition. Obviously, the kinds of foods that they would stockpile would be those that they can eat, in other words low-sodium kinds of items. With diabetes they want to make sure that the protein and fruit bars that they choose are not those that are high in sugar ? there are many that are made for diabetics. Dried fruit or trail mix may not be a high option for them, whereas nuts might be fine. So I think the diet that they eat on a regular basis is the same kind of recommendation that they?ll need for stockpiling.

Should antibiotics be included in your emergency stockpile?
Antibiotics are a prescription item. You don?t really want to stockpile an antibiotic because you don?t know which antibiotic you are going to need for a particular condition. If you are already on an antibiotic, then by all means you should make sure that you take that with you (if you are told to evacuate), but as a general rule, no, antibiotics are not an item that should be in your emergency stockpile because you don?t know which one you need for any particular condition.

What kinds of foods should pregnant mothers have in their stockpile?
The kinds of foods that pregnant mothers would want would be the same as the general population. They have no special requirements other than an increased caloric requirement. That?s making sure that they have adequate kinds of proteins, adequate fluids. They may want to ensure that they have a higher load of fruit juices and water in their stockpile to ensure that they have adequate hydration.
Any tips for making it fun for kids to get involved in creating a stockpile?
There is a wonderful Web site called Ready.gov, and there is a children?s portion that helps children learn what they need to do to create their family?s emergency stockpile, which includes, of course, things beyond food and water?also clothing and those kinds of items. I recommend that all families take a look at that. But in addition to that, they can also prepare their own perhaps small side stockpile with some of the kinds of foods that they like, so that they know that in the event that something occurs, they have the kinds of foods that are important to them, and they may have their own utensils that make them feel better?children-size utensils?and you need to make sure that when you are packing your stockpile that you do include not only that can opener but knives and forks and spoons and paper plates and paper bowls. Paper is probably better because you will not have the ability to do dishwashing. And so with your kids you want to pack things that are familiar to them, and again, the fruit bars and maybe the Vienna sausage?it depends on what stage that child is at as to the kinds of foods that are going to be their favorites.
Is there anything else you?d like to add?
When we are looking at fluids, probably our better choice, of course, is water, and there are a number of small one-serving things where you change water to lemonade or you can change it to iced tea, or things like that. But I would really recommend that you not stockpile soda. Soda contains no nutrients and all it contains is sugar and calories, and that?s not going to be a good option when you are trying to shelter in place or in an emergency stockpile because there is no value added to having any kind of soda. You really want to stick with your water and your juice, which is going to add for your hydration, and avoid those foods that are going to also make you very thirsty.

Conference highlighted that all is not that good with economy in India. This remind us the 1929 and how Germany was in trouble. Adolf Hitler, Fuhrer of Germany, made Germany to get into spiraling Inflation and in fact German Bank printed currencies in billions. The net Result was economy collapsed, all over. Repairs are some kind of novices repairing, like repair of ?Chandrayan? and net result was ?Chandrayan by ISRO is lost for ever in the wilderness of Moon or Space. Nobody really knows!.

This is like ARMY warning 26/11 repeat but they will not know where exactly the problem is. Realists appreciate governments? allover do really get confused BY false ?forecasts?. PM is sincere but he seems to be at end of his wits. Not only him but all the so called experts all over may be Nobel laureates or university professors or the super specialty journo(s), as they no longer talk like curious people.
One thing is certain people are at cross roads of conflicting claims. In the meantime so many ?Kodas? like Jharkhand politicians ARE being screened under CBI AND ?ED? ENFORECEMENT DIRECTORATE ?SCANNER?. Soon thousands will emerge, if the government has a will to bring to book in the interest of Nation.

The selective of information feed is also ?subjective analyses. Objectively fed information is missing since ?opening of economies?.

Ultimate reality is we are at some brink of economic destruction; it is like euthanasia ? silent killer of the economies leading to some kind of wilderness land that can be called an Eldorado Land.

One thing is certain poor will become poorer if divestment in PSUs continued to augment fiscal needs which is exorbitantly high very much higher than the governments? capability to handle, as most of the states finance ministers boost the state fiscal needs by higher local taxes on all goods and services cutting into the poor man?s budgets to run his house.

World over is very serious financial crisis since every where there is no solution but expenses are shooting up, as consumerism still high believing everything is fine but truth is indeed at the opposite ends (OTHERWISE)and might possibly lead to food riots, if there is no control in expenses and money will expand beyond limits.

If businesses are encouraged to go in their way, naturally Naxalism and Marxists will thrive as poor and poverty stricken cannot be just a spectator, after all his stomach pinches.

Recessionary trends are preferable to inflationary trends.

People with less income and NO control on expenses on essentials flatten.

Governments should be careful as to not to tow the business lines.

You now need a leader like Indira Gandhi to declare emergency to control banks and extravagant expenses, as your neighbor Pakistan will have great opportunity to take advantage on food riots sooner or latter and Taliban and other outfits look for such opportunity.

Wisdom in public finance management has to prevail to save the man on the street, after all very many Kodas will soon emerge everywhere if public revenue generation by debt goes on and on unabated, as the tax payer has to meet the debts which is seriously doubtful.

Repudiation is not possible which Americans faced during 1930 from several heavily borrowed countries but today you are borrowing from public finances, including divestments i.e., regulating revenues and expenditures.

Benjamin Friedman in his book ?the moral consequences of Economic growth? wrote ?.we realizes the advantages of higher standard of living?moral thinking is in practical terms every culture enjoins us to not to place in the pedestal of undue emphasis on our material concerns alone.

Economic development - say industrialization, in particular in globalization often brings undesirable side most UNDESIRABLE side effects ? like damages to the environment, or the homogenization of what used to be distinctive cultures (e.g. India an agricultural economy). On both counts, we think economic growth in terms of material considerations, verses moral concerns. We weigh material positives against moral negatives (machines).

When one seriously considers this, in some circumstances is it not incomplete perception?

He values of rising standard of living, lies not in just in concrete improvements it brings to how individuals live but in how it shapes the social, political and ultimately the morality of a people.

Economic growth , a rising standard of living for a clear majority of people, more often than not, fosters greater opportunity, tolerance of diversity, social mobility, commitment to fairness, and dedication to democratic living?when living standards decline, most societies make little progress if any progress is there, and all in all too many instances they plainly retrogress.

Recently When I was going through Washington Post, India?s economic times articles, perceptions of Nobel Laureates, Financial times London, Economist of London, in the last few days, I could see all excessively optimistic economists, journalists of leading news papers, in the year 2008, including government economists were touting that there is no big problem around economically, but now there is a lurking fear psychosis in all of them, economy is slowing down, brought lot of job losses, winding of companies, restructuring, and re-engineering, cost cutting exercises belatedly, permitting excessive consumerism which in fact brought too much pressure, adding fuel to the fire is failures of monsoons, now ?El Nino? is to increase global warming, environmental damages, meaningless excessive infrastructures, irrational bank lending for higher end buildings, and what not. Her fellow winner professor Oliver Williamson of California university work on TCT (transaction cost theory) is a cost reduction mechanism in any product or service. That does mean ?outsourcing theory? (RELATION SPECIFIC INVESTMENT) which made many MNCs to outsource their work from companies like ?Infosys? and like.

Though Ram Singh of Delhi School of Economics just eulogized in his article, in Economic Times (issue of 14 october,09), of the Times of India group firm, and yet conflict resolutions in contracts though less in vertically integrating firm, there will be conflicts of interests, in TCT. Previous notion was that common property was poorly managed and should be regulated centrally or privatized (a typical view challenged by Panchayati Raj system and India introduced/revived Panchayati raj system in 1991 by then Prime Minister Narasimha Rao out of own experience in Indian politics).
Nobel winners have well-recognized by their researches the views Ostrom now enunciated in her seminary work, being a political scientist (political economist) and that way inter disciplinary work only is an eye opener.

Prof Oliver Williamson (also of university of California) recognized in his research (on TCT) on analysis of conflict resolution for the ?over the last three decades and these contributions have indeed advanced economic governance research from the fringe to the forefront of scientific attention?, the committee observed.
According to Ostrom ?there are many many people who have struggled mightily and to be chosen for this prize is a great honor I am still a little bit in shock.?

Anyway it is indeed a corrective to many conventional economists to change their thinking process if social economics is a criterion.

Recent swirl in economic development overly worked on market is given a short shrift that markets alone cannot determine real factors, like protagonists view of ?Consumerism? which led to serious debts even to nations tying them to several years of debts and also monetary expansion without sensible views tied up thought to irrational economic development which led to Nandhigam problem in West Bengal and Maoist risings and declaring war by union government of India without realizing what will be the after effects. After all you have to protect all people?s living in an unequal society, a norm of the world.

It is a paradox that global in thinking while acting locally. Always local views are invariably governed by local needs, like rivers, climate, and waters and in these you will have to work holistically and not egoistically like thinking of connecting rivers.

In China also the government has to break the dam constructed across river Hoe-en-ho, just because of dam will cause very serious floods, in that river of sorrow. What is education? Is it that is taught in schools? Is it reliable for you? What do you expect in education? Whether the present systems of education really insure your future? IF not how will you go about?

Education is the means of art of living, in one?s life sojourn. Routes are different. No school teaches one to the capabilities one has. That is the real problem. Schools provide some set kind of topics or subjects as decided by government, under so called syllabus and curriculum.
Every boy and girl has a particular talent and that need not neatly fit into these so called curriculum / syllabus. You see film actors and theatre actors are talented to portray a role and accordingly the director selects on the basis of story line. You will note all actors will not fit the roles the story line may need. Those that fit the role have the opportunity to act, and that one leads to a box office rating. If you use an actor on the basis of strait jacketed education qualification, then naturally you will find film will miserably fail. So the actor should be exactly able to portray the role to the best possible satisfaction of the spectators.

You can make a technician by the present system of technical education, but when that technician is put to do a job he needs such creative abilities and if he does not he will create a drab cinema. Cinema is totally dependent on actors and hence they are paid astronomical sums of money. Similarly every one has some caliber but if you do not give relevant education fitting his caliber, then he naturally fails. So the word education is to fit in to your talents and what is done all over the world today, you have to fit in your talents to the education provided and hence education is some kind of straight jacket mechanism. Why students drop out, just because that education is not compatible to his talent. But interestingly, we shed all kinds of crocodile tears for the student dropping out of the course. That is the vast gap is created by the present day education. Those who do this straight jacket education will not get really any mark in life, except some make believe kind of capacity, like the people in LEHMAN BROS who all contrived the world economy to go into gloom, in USA, with all kinds of false promises and lies.

Parents without knowing the talent of their children submit them to some so called schools/colleges/universities, as if the end of education is in those institutions but it is a sad mistake committed by every one as if every one thinks that he knows his child better but in fact child knows about him or her better.

If that freedom is available to the child it need not wait for government alms, under so called reservations and the like, after all every child can carve out its future much more better than the so called governments? thinking process. So it is said SARASWATI/MINERVA bestows particular talent in every child world through the process of procreation.

We did not learn education in ancient India from Europe. We had our own system of gurukul and we had our Nalanda and Taxila and similar such in India so too in china in ancient times. We developed temple architecture, management so too China Pagodas and Chinese management.

Present system will doom Indians for ever.

Education is the means of art of living, in one?s life sojourn. Routes are different. No school teaches one to the capabilities one has. That is the real problem. Schools provide some set kind of topics or subjects as decided by government, under so called syllabus and curriculum.
Every boy and girl has a particular talent and that need not neatly fit into these so called curriculum / syllabus. You see film actors and theatre actors are talented to portray a role and accordingly the director selects on the basis of story line. You will note all actors will not fit the roles the story line may need. Those that fit the role have the opportunity to act, and that one leads to a box office rating. If you use an actor on the basis of strait jacketed education qualification, then naturally you will find film will miserably fail. So the actor should be exactly able to portray the role to the best possible satisfaction of the spectators.

You can make a technician by the present system of technical education, but when that technician is put to do a job he needs such creative abilities and if he does not he will create a drab cinema. Cinema is totally dependent on actors and hence they are paid astronomical sums of money. Similarly every one has some caliber but if you do not give relevant education fitting his caliber, then he naturally fails. So the word education is to fit in to your talents and what is done all over the world today, you have to fit in your talents to the education provided and hence education is some kind of straight jacket mechanism. Why students drop out, just because that education is not compatible to his talent. But interestingly, we shed all kinds of crocodile tears for the student dropping out of the course. That is the vast gap is created by the present day education. Those who do this straight jacket education will not get really any mark in life, except some make believe kind of capacity, like the people in LEHMAN BROS who all contrived the world economy to go into gloom, in USA, with all kinds of false promises and lies.

Class Structure and intelligence in American life ? A challenge? ? How is this catching up in India too of late!

Genius a master mind is lonely person. He is very jealously protects himself and he behaves like honey bee stinging. Today ?Our intellectual landscape has been disrupted by equivalent of an earthquake?, said Michael Novak of ?National Review? of America.

Pundit Ravi Shankar is not allowing his son to come up, as he is jealously guarding his genius, like many geniuses of the past, according to a report of recent origin.

Politicians in power mostly imitate low IQ personalities and cannot be treated as genius and they are mostly alleged to be criminal in behavior, as their aim is just to amass wealth right and left. They are likely to be caught and so they use their weight of party bigwigs.
A few are high IQ men are there in politics and they have strangle hold in party politics, e.g., Mayavathi, Rajnath Singh, Bal Thackeray, Raj Thackeray, Amar Singh, Lal Kishen Advani, RSS leaders, Modi of Gujarat, Karunanithi of Tamil nadu, A. Raja, union Minister at union Cabinet, Taliban leader Osama Bin Laden and many of his cohorts, Some LeT-men, so too LTTE-men like late Prabhakaran, Military Rulers of Myanmar, Dictators, to mention a few. But they will face sooner or later problems like being put to sword, as they have more direct and indirect enemies every where.

BJP is passing through serious stress due to Lok Sabha election debacle 2009. The writer forecasted BJP election debacle 2009 in one of his articles, as the party did not have any sensible manifesto at all. It only simply attacked opposition party ? CONGRESS and worse still personally Mr. Sonia Gandhi, and PM Dr. MAN MOHAN SINGH, as weak PM. Electorate rejected the BJP Leaders claims, all over India.

So too, many opposition parties were rejected for their intemperate and vituperative attacks on CONGRESS. Some were aiming to become PM in place of Dr. Man Mohan Singh under one front or the other. People smelt rat and they gave fitting finale in 2009 elections.

Incidentally all electronic channels and media factually reported the attacks. All parties failed in their political strategies; just because they all started thinking electorate is full of nincompoops?/foolish men/stupid. These parties had to fail miserably every where. That is the price they had to pay. If they do in Assembly pools they will equally eat mud, after all they have taste to cheat people and enrich themselves.

Every political party in India had enough internal dissentions and disagreements and party heads behaved dictatorially and the electorate realized there is no point supporting them for all party men in fact cheated the electorate in one way or the other, and even swindled the electorates? money.

Even Civil servants of all hues joined the band wagon of parties, after all parties? themselves encouraged swindling. Every one in electorate knows as to how they had been cheated right and left. Now bureaucrats will be asked to put their wealth statistics on governments? website at the time of their appointment and get updated if and when there are any changes, in their or their children and wife?s properties. And that will be examined at the time of resignations or retirements to find out whether their known sources of income could allow so much wealth, to see the cat out of the bag. Even judges Web site information on their wealth will be examined by people and no minister at whatever level can assume any superiority to citizen who is the real master of all these men.

Party men became realtors and also corporate-persons and they simply with the support of party in power swindled the people. Even in this fray even Communist governments were there in the name of land acquisition.

Nandhigam is an electrifying situation in West Bengal and like this in every state swindling started in the name of SEZs, (Export zones, economic zones and the like), and also in medical, education fronts as well, by the political men started schools, and colleges by floating trusts and systematically flouting rule of law, and in this game several corporate bodies joined the fray of loot the people, by selling some useless courses and assuring the students plump jobs by placements, by appointing so called counselors, counseling the view point of the colleges.

Like this several parents lost their hard earned monies, at the end. This is the current history and even today similar institutions still earn illegal monies which can be mostly treated as black moneys, as most of the moneys obtained in the name management seats siphoned unaccounted moneys through illegal channels. May be these moneys also could have found way to Swiss Banks!

They employed agents like in realty sector, even in education sector and so too in every sector. The employment agents swindled moneys and landed people in misery. Like them the party workers are agents of party and they in their own greed affected the safe living of people-electorate and that way ,since they are led by their so called leaders of the party, the life of electorate got affected and when they reacted being no longer stoic, the very foundation of party/ies get(s) shaken up.

It is pertinent to mention here Seneca a Roman Stoic philosopher in Epistles 47, 11 said some 2000 years ago ? ?Treat your inferior as you would be treated by your Superior.? Similarly Alexander did with vanquished Porus at Taxila in 4th century BC, as Porus also believed in the same theory ? though vanquished he had the audacity to ask Alexander to treat him like a king and Alexander agreed and Porus was provided a Throne to be seated at Alexander?s level. Hence we call all over the world with an affix to Alexander ?the Great?. That kind of attitude would control any bad situation.

Yes, still worse even universities participated and the men in power there pocketed the illegal wealth generation, even today it is a great business.

Poor parents do not understand real nuances of education of today. Every one wanted so called MBA, MCA, MHA.MBBS, MD (IN ALL KINDS OF UNKNOWN BRANCHES), MS, DEGREES, at a premium payment.

Many doctors, managers brought through these channels wanted to make fast bucks and they resorted to all kinds of unethical practices, in their clinics and hospitals. This situation forces present union government to bring in one national HRD council in place of Indian Medical Council, Dental Council, Nursing COUNCIL, Pharmacy Council..to evaluate the courses run by universities, as many such courses are just dubious as the placement agents.

Once you are in vicious circle, you too become vicious for gaining back lost moneys. This kind of consumerism has thrived and still thriving. This is called ?thriving in chaos?, what Tom Peters say.

This means people are confused and do not know which way to proceed but will proceed anyway, and that is the chaotic situation and in this path some make moneys, at the cost of others, as in ?dotcoms? business which ultimately busted and made several investors lose over night their savings, like Nigerian ingenious way of Grand Lotto ? lotteries, and even today several men have lost a lot in these ventures of easy money lures, and it still continues, as the greed caught the people, particularly politicians for easy money.

BJP has RSS organization ? a grass root with support set up like ABVP, BAJRANG DAL, VHP, BMS, VANAVASI KALYAN, SARASWATI SISU MANDIRS, and there are about 38 set ups together.

The main set ups constantly work among people, indoctrinating children, trade unions, peasants, intellectuals, tribal communities, unemployed youth, pious temple goers, information technology workers..and so on? In fact there is no other party so well organized to perpetually indoctrinate people, except Christian missions, some Taliban set up in extremist Muslim set up, just to market their ideas with the people, like in LeT and thus to convert to their ideologies.

RSS basic aim is to see India as a HINDU NATION. This ideology even percolated in congress leaders like Nehru, Patel and hence they did not yield to Gandhi/Jinnah, as Jinnah wanted India as a Muslim Nation, as British got power from Muslim Rulers, they expected Britain to hand over to Muslims, for the Nehru-Patel feared Hindus will be kept as slaves by new Muslim Rulers, as ruthless rulers.

According to Sudha Pai, professor of centre for political studies, JNU, ?reappearance of Hindutva based mobilization in the 2000s ? despite decline of identity politics ? witnessed in the Gujarat riots, the Hubli and Amarnath land controversies contributed to the defeat of the party in 2004 and 2009 national elections?consecutive defeats coincided with gradual eclipsing of moderate leadership of Vajpayee was responsible for this and on fixing accountability for electoral defeats? reopened the acrid debate on ?secularism? fanned by Jaswant Singh?s book on Jinnah and the need for generational change?.party is imploding. RSS taking over might push to extreme right wing position leading to a further break up?BJP NOW AT CROSS ROADS TODAY?needs space to introspect for a future direction??.

BJP Political analyst GVL Narasimha & BJP member feels ?RSS, a cultural set up, can play a parental role of advising in the process of performing all roles in the process of Nation Building.. and BJP will soon overcome present crisis of confidence and he adds, any progeny change undergoes any crisis situations, RSS has a moral role to play and guide the offspring..BJP leadership is still wedded to the ideology of ?Sanghparivar? and its influence is still there on BJP?.

Similar kind of problems will arise in every party, as it happened when PV Narasimha Rao as PM, there was a revolt in congress spearheaded by Sitaram Kesari, cleverly machinated Sharad Pawar, Madhava Rao Sindia, and others to overthrow PVN, though he did play a crucial role in re-engineering Indian Economy which was in shambles after VP Singh?s tenure as PM.

And yet it survived by Sonia?s shrewd approach of making Dr. Man Mohan Singh as PM in 2004 and 2009. I do not find any shrewd men in other parties especially in BJP, CPM, CPI; and others cannot be counted as parties at all, and after all they are some groupings just to loot common Indian people.

Moderate approach only can rebuild the party as progeny change wants inclusive approaches everywhere in the world, if BJP to re-emerge wit young leadership?as old men in it are spent forces, forgetting things like one suffers from Alzheimer disease?better weed out or they on their own retire like Vajpayee did, after all every generation modifies with its own thought process.

It is true most of the Muslim rulers were just ruthless as per medieval Indian History. Even today we see Taliban, Al-Qaida, LeT, JUD and so on are just ruthless in killing even Muslims all over, as and when they do not give in to these worthies. So reprisals started in Swat, in which very Swat people dismembered bodies of terrorists and terrorists are fleeing. (Part 1)

Advent of Muslims in India is a product of internal dissentions and rivalries started in 1191 AD when King Jayachandra invited Mohammed Ghori to over throw Prithviraj Raj Chouhan, again a Rajasthan King like Jayachandra, because Prithviraj took away Jayachandra daughter Rani Padmini who was in love with Prithviraj, (a story like Helen of Troy (France).

That was the beginning of Muslims entering for permanent residence in India. Finally Moghals entered India.

Before that, Muslim rulers, Huns used to invade India just to loot wealth, like Mohammed Gazni who invaded 18 times Somnath temple for gold in Gujarat.

From that episode onwards Gujarat really hated Muslim rulers. That way even today Gujaratis hate Muslims, like present CHIEF MINISTER Narendra Modi?s hatred of Muslims, as Modi is a short sighted man and never ever understands the meaning of ?Insan? but he gives excessive credibility to religion which a great French philosopher Rousseau said ?God is an invention of man? and so too religion. Renaissance in Europe in 14th century failed to deliver anything meaningful to peaceful existence of man.

That way, Maharashtra and Gujarat became a strong hold of RSS movement. Maharashtra developed ingrained hatred of Muslims because Aurangazebe ill-treated Shivaji ( a ploy), as he treated him as a petty chieftain in Maharashtra and in fact Aurangazebe wanted to just kill him and get rid of him, as he enjoyed nuisance value in Moghals? circles.

You can even see today Maharashtra is going to spend 341 ft tall Shivaji statue somewhere near Marine Drive and call it as a statue of Liberty of India, at a prohibitive cost just to woo Maharshtrians to vote them to power back, not just because politicians in Maharashtra are so much devoted to Shivaji!. Today politicians are cleverly playing on sentiments, like Shiva Sena in Maharashtra so BSP Mayavathi in UP.

British came to India as 35,000 traders to India to do trade with India and they found internal squabbles (as opportunities) between kings, nawabs, and peshwas and this helped British to do Residency Business at some price and the quarrelling nawabs, peshwas agreed by granting them some grants and that way British, French, Portuguese did some trade of residencies.

British finally succeeded to stay down and control these kings, chieftains, nawabs, sultans..ect..and when East India Company failed in its obligations British government entered the fray and created their suzerainty over and they did give some sense of ?rule of law to India? and codified laws, and gave reforms to India to upgrade education levels by permitting Christian missionaries to run schools and colleges. Thus streamlined education formed in India

After 1857 first independence war (familiarly called as Sepoy Mutiny), independence movement took shape, initially under AO Hume, then Dr. Annie Besant, then under Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, a Guajarati settled in South Africa as a Lawyer( he came to India as he was thrown out of a First Class compartment by a railway ticket examiner at Durban railway station, as Gandhi was a brown man not supposed to travel with whites in a first class carriage then, and that infuriated young Gandhi at the apartheid attitude of white man and he wanted to root out British from India, in his own way). Every movement centers on self interest but cleverly manipulated by clever men.

But Gandhi was a shrewd man and too clever to use ?Ahimsa?( non-violent way of agitation) method to fight the British and it soon paid rich dividends and that way many freedom lovers tried to join him to fight out British.

British then in 1920 to 1947 was beleaguered by world war costs and in fact wanted to disengage itself from Indian administration which was consuming a lot of British energy, finances and that way Indian Independence became a reality.

British government appointed Lord Louis Mountbatten, an admiral from royal lineage of British navy, a very clever and intelligent man. He was appointed as Vice Roy of India.

He saw dissentions between hard core Hindus and hard core Moslems and he advised Britain to go for divide and rule Indians, as it was an avowed policy of British, earlier too.!

Gandhi and Jinnah did not like the idea of separate India and Pakistan and yet Patel and Nehru clout worked with Viceroy Lord Mountbatten, as Nehru and Patel (highly independent in thinking) wanted Hindu India in power and Jinnah (independent in thinking man) wanted Muslim India to be in power, that became a ?great opportunity to Britain? to divide India, though Jinnah and Gandhi wanted Greater India to be independent under a federal set up of India. Tryst of destiny wanted otherwise. Thus India and Pakistan was born in 1947.

Divide and rule strategy of British put both India and Pakistan in continuous differences and caused wars and that led to formation of Bangladesh in 1974, under Mujibhur Rehman who was latter assassinated like Likat Ali Khan of Pakistan, immediately after Independence. Madam Indira Gandhi, as PM of India, had helped Bangladesh war of independence, and that is also a divide and rule strategy on Pakistan by India.

Further souring situation was J&K accession to India, since 1953 and this contributed to greater differences between Pakistan and India. Pakistan also wants to play similar strategy in J&K issue.

We had several wars with Pakistan, including that of Kharghil and that location is of military strategic importance to have a helicopter view to know what happens on the other side? That is a contentious issue.

Soon Pakistan encouraged ?terrorists? from Kashmir area and even now after 63 years of independence the terrorists are active, as Pakistan establishment hates India, after separation of Bangladesh by a war fought by India to grant independence to Bangladesh. This is again history, though the people of Pakistan and India love and accept each other, so too in Bangladesh. Eye sore continues.

Gujarat riots of 1992 have further infuriated Muslims and the BJP government in Gujarat is alleged to have its hand in the riots, and still investigations are on. This is indeed a great blow on the party. In fact Atul Behari Vajpayee as PM wanted to remove Modi, stumbling block was LK Advani.

Then 26/11 Mumbai massacre initiated by Pakistan based terrorists is the present burning issue. Pakistan can say if India has given intelligent reports on 26/11, it would have ensured 26/11 did not take place at all.

Now Pakistan does not want to initiate action against JUD chief Sayeed, in spite of hard core evidence that this man and Lakhvi and others based in Pakistan conspired 26/11 attacks in Mumbai.

Trial is on hard core terrorist- Ajmal Kasab, a Pakistani national (but denied by Pakistan that he is a Pakistani) (caught by Mumbai police alive in November 2008) who killed innocents numbering about 200 people in Mumbai on 26/11, at Taj, Trident hotels and at Chatrapati Shivaji terminus (renamed railway station in honor of Shivaji) (popularly known as Victoria Terminus railway station, built by British).

Clear evidences are produced by Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI of USA) before Indian criminal court at Mumbai, but Pakistan says, it is not enough evidence against Sayeed and Lakhvi and others.

RCN ? Red corner notice is issued, at the request of Indian criminal court by international investigation agency, to arrest any where in the world the said individual and hand over the individual to Indian government for trial in India. This is to say that partition effects casting its shadow.

It is true Indian government should have handed over 26/11 terrorist to USA to be tried in US courts that could have sorted out a lot or many problems in India, including more and more terrorist outfits are landing in India, after 26/11, as trial is in India.

The writer suggested in one of his articles suggested trial of the terrorists should be at the International Court of criminal Justice, for punishing the international crime, as there were several foreigners were killed in the shoot out by terrorists at Mumbai Hotels.

Jaswant Singh book praised Jinnah as a Nationalist (true he was). BJP chose to remove Jaswant Singh from primary membership of BJP party, though he was very active for about 30 years in the party.

Specters of dissentions are surfacing in BJP. So too another leader is on the way of removal. So many leaders are surfacing to agitate against feudalist approach of party-BJP.

Even Brijesh Misra a close confidante-advisor during BJP TENURE OF GOVERNMENT of the past PM Atul Behari Vajpayee holds that AtulJI would not have removed Jaswant Singh from core party activities for writing books.. He further says AtulJI was least interested in Ram Mandir or imposing of Article 370 on Muslims.

BJP survival is doubtful though it has a good base but tottering, as people of India do not believe it, any longer as a party which can really protect their interests. But BJP?s core committee?s behavior is just alienating the close core members and they are disassociating themselves from party.

So, soon similar fate will be in store, for every party with feudal /dictatorial approach, in Indian Politics. CPM and CPI are already on way out. Already every one knows how

CPM acted on then speaker of Lok Sabha Mr. Somnath Chatterjee, when he refused to resign as speaker matter at the instance of CPM DICTATE ON HIM, as polit bureau instruction.

All these show democratic approach to things just vanished in these parties but all senior leaders believe in democratic functioning is the way of life and it is a culture of India. This became abundantly clear in 2009 elections at West Bengal and Kerala. Chances are there fore for further electoral defeats for these parties. Now sun is ?setting on these parties? as people no longer trust these parties , people are mentally democratic and love democracy, as Indian democratic approach is there in Ancient India, from the days of Vaisali confederacy where was born Gautama Buddha was born.(ends)

It only simply attacked opposition party – CONGRESS and worse still personally Mr. Sonia Gandhi, and PM Dr. MAN MOHAN SINGH, as weak PM. Electorate rejected the BJP Leaders claims, all over India.

So too, many opposition parties were rejected for their intemperate and vituperative attacks on CONGRESS. Some were aiming to become PM in place of Dr. Man Mohan Singh under one front or the other. People smelt rat and they gave fitting finale in 2009 elections.

Incidentally all electronic channels and media factually reported the attacks. All parties failed in their political strategies; just because they all started thinking electorate is full of nincompoops’/foolish men/stupid. These parties had to fail miserably every where. That is the price they had to pay. If they do in Assembly pools they will equally eat mud, after all they have taste to cheat people and enrich themselves.

Every political party in India had enough internal dissentions and disagreements and party heads behaved dictatorially and the electorate realized there is no point supporting them for all party men in fact cheated the electorate in one way or the other, and even swindled the electorates’ money.

Even Civil servants of all hues joined the band wagon of parties, after all parties’ themselves encouraged swindling. Every one in electorate knows as to how they had been cheated right and left. Now bureaucrats will be asked to put their wealth statistics on governments’ website at the time of their appointment and get updated if and when there are any changes, in their or their children and wife’s properties. And that will be examined at the time of resignations or retirements to find out whether their known sources of income could allow so much wealth, to see the cat out of the bag. Even judges Web site information on their wealth will be examined by people and no minister at whatever level can assume any superiority to citizen who is the real master of all these men.

Party men became realtors and also corporate-persons and they simply with the support of party in power swindled the people. Even in this fray even Communist governments were there in the name of land acquisition.

Nandhigam is an electrifying situation in West Bengal and like this in every state swindling started in the name of SEZs, (Export zones, economic zones and the like), and also in medical, education fronts as well, by the political men started schools, and colleges by floating trusts and systematically flouting rule of law, and in this game several corporate bodies joined the fray of loot the people, by selling some useless courses and assuring the students plump jobs by placements, by appointing so called counselors, counseling the view point of the colleges.

Like this several parents lost their hard earned monies, at the end. This is the current history and even today similar institutions still earn illegal monies which can be mostly treated as black moneys, as most of the moneys obtained in the name management seats siphoned unaccounted moneys through illegal channels. May be these moneys also could have found way to Swiss Banks!

They employed agents like in realty sector, even in education sector and so too in every sector. The employment agents swindled moneys and landed people in misery. Like them the party workers are agents of party and they in their own greed affected the safe living of people-electorate and that way ,since they are led by their so called leaders of the party, the life of electorate got affected and when they reacted being no longer stoic, the very foundation of party/ies get(s) shaken up.

It is pertinent to mention here Seneca a Roman Stoic philosopher in Epistles 47, 11 said some 2000 years ago – ‘Treat your inferior as you would be treated by your Superior.’ Similarly Alexander did with vanquished Porus at Taxila in 4th century BC, as Porus also believed in the same theory – though vanquished he had the audacity to ask Alexander to treat him like a king and Alexander agreed and Porus was provided a Throne to be seated at Alexander’s level. Hence we call all over the world with an affix to Alexander ‘the Great’. That kind of attitude would control any bad situation.

Poor parents do not understand real nuances of education of today. Every one wanted so called MBA, MCA, MHA.MBBS, MD (IN ALL KINDS OF UNKNOWN BRANCHES), MS, DEGREES, at a premium payment.

Many doctors, managers brought through these channels wanted to make fast bucks and they resorted to all kinds of unethical practices, in their clinics and hospitals. This situation forces present union government to bring in one national HRD council in place of Indian Medical Council, Dental Council, Nursing COUNCIL, Pharmacy Council..to evaluate the courses run by universities, as many such courses are just dubious as the placement agents.

Once you are in vicious circle, you too become vicious for gaining back lost moneys. This kind of consumerism has thrived and still thriving. This is called ‘thriving in chaos’, what Tom Peters say.

This means people are confused and do not know which way to proceed but will proceed anyway, and that is the chaotic situation and in this path some make moneys, at the cost of others, as in ‘dotcoms’ business which ultimately busted and made several investors lose over night their savings, like Nigerian ingenious way of Grand Lotto – lotteries, and even today several men have lost a lot in these ventures of easy money lures, and it still continues, as the greed caught the people, particularly politicians for easy money.
BJP has RSS organization – a grass root with support set up like ABVP, BAJRANG DAL, VHP, BMS, VANAVASI KALYAN, SARASWATI SISU MANDIRS, and there are about 38 set ups together.
The main set ups constantly work among people, indoctrinating children, trade unions, peasants, intellectuals, tribal communities, unemployed youth, pious temple goers, information technology workers..and so on… In fact there is no other party so well organized to perpetually indoctrinate people, except Christian missions, some Taliban set up in extremist Muslim set up, just to market their ideas with the people, like in LeT and thus to convert to their ideologies.
RSS basic aim is to see India as a HINDU NATION. This ideology even percolated in congress leaders like Nehru, Patel and hence they did not yield to Gandhi/Jinnah, as Jinnah wanted India as a Muslim Nation, as British got power from Muslim Rulers, they expected Britain to hand over to Muslims, for the Nehru-Patel feared Hindus will be kept as slaves by new Muslim Rulers, as ruthless rulers.

Similar kind of problems will arise in every party, as it happened when PV Narasimha Rao as PM, there was a revolt in congress spearheaded by Sitaram Kesari, cleverly machinated Sharad Pawar, Madhava Rao Sindia, and others to overthrow PVN, though he did play a crucial role in re-engineering Indian Economy which was in shambles after VP Singh’s tenure as PM.

And yet it survived by Sonia’s shrewd approach of making Dr. Man Mohan Singh as PM in 2004 and 2009. I do not find any shrewd men in other parties especially in BJP, CPM, CPI; and others cannot be counted as parties at all, and after all they are some groupings just to loot common Indian people.

Maharashtra developed ingrained hatred of Muslims because Aurangazebe ill-treated Shivaji ( a ploy), as he treated him as a petty chieftain in Maharashtra and in fact Aurangazebe wanted to just kill him and get rid of him, as he enjoyed nuisance value in Moghals’ circles.
You can even see today Maharashtra is going to spend 341 ft tall Shivaji statue somewhere near Marine Drive and call it as a statue of Liberty of India, at a prohibitive cost just to woo Maharshtrians to vote them to power back, not just because politicians in Maharashtra are so much devoted to Shivaji!. Today politicians are cleverly playing on sentiments, like Shiva Sena in Maharashtra so BSP Mayavathi in UP.
British came to India as 35,000 traders to India to do trade with India and they found internal squabbles (as opportunities) between kings, nawabs, and peshwas and this helped British to do Residency Business at some price and the quarrelling nawabs, peshwas agreed by granting them some grants and that way British, French, Portuguese did some trade of residencies.

British finally succeeded to stay down and control these kings, chieftains, nawabs, sultans..ect..and when East India Company failed in its obligations British government entered the fray and created their suzerainty over and they did give some sense of ‘rule of law to India’ and codified laws, and gave reforms to India to upgrade education levels by permitting Christian missionaries to run schools and colleges. Thus streamlined education formed in India

After 1857 first independence war (familiarly called as Sepoy Mutiny), independence movement took shape, initially under AO Hume, then Dr. Annie Besant, then under Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, a Guajarati settled in South Africa as a Lawyer( he came to India as he was thrown out of a First Class compartment by a railway ticket examiner at Durban railway station, as Gandhi was a brown man not supposed to travel with whites in a first class carriage then, and that infuriated young Gandhi at the apartheid attitude of white man and he wanted to root out British from India, in his own way). Every movement centers on self interest but cleverly manipulated by clever men.

But Gandhi was a shrewd man and too clever to use ‘Ahimsa’( non-violent way of agitation) method to fight the British and it soon paid rich dividends and that way many freedom lovers tried to join him to fight out British.

British then in 1920 to 1947 was beleaguered by world war costs and in fact wanted to disengage itself from Indian administration which was consuming a lot of British energy, finances and that way Indian Independence became a reality.

British government appointed Lord Louis Mountbatten, an admiral from royal lineage of British navy, a very clever and intelligent man. He was appointed as Vice Roy of India.
He saw dissentions between hard core Hindus and hard core Moslems and he advised Britain to go for divide and rule Indians, as it was an avowed policy of British, earlier too.!
Gandhi and Jinnah did not like the idea of separate India and Pakistan and yet Patel and Nehru clout worked with Viceroy Lord Mountbatten, as Nehru and Patel (highly independent in thinking) wanted Hindu India in power and Jinnah (independent in thinking man) wanted Muslim India to be in power, that became a ‘great opportunity to Britain’ to divide India, though Jinnah and Gandhi wanted Greater India to be independent under a federal set up of India. Tryst of destiny wanted otherwise. Thus India and Pakistan was born in 1947.

Divide and rule strategy of British put both India and Pakistan in continuous differences and caused wars and that led to formation of Bangladesh in 1974, under Mujibhur Rehman who was latter assassinated like Likat Ali Khan of Pakistan, immediately after Independence. Madam Indira Gandhi, as PM of India, had helped Bangladesh war of independence, and that is also a divide and rule strategy on Pakistan by India.

Further souring situation was J&K accession to India, since 1953 and this contributed to greater differences between Pakistan and India. Pakistan also wants to play similar strategy in J&K issue.

We had several wars with Pakistan, including that of Kharghil and that location is of military strategic importance to have a helicopter view to know what happens on the other side? That is a contentious issue.

Soon Pakistan encouraged ‘terrorists’ from Kashmir area and even now after 63 years of independence the terrorists are active, as Pakistan establishment hates India, after separation of Bangladesh by a war fought by India to grant independence to Bangladesh. This is again history, though the people of Pakistan and India love and accept each other, so too in Bangladesh. Eye sore continues.

Gujarat riots of 1992 have further infuriated Muslims and the BJP government in Gujarat is alleged to have its hand in the riots, and still investigations are on. This is indeed a great blow on the party. In fact Atul Behari Vajpayee as PM wanted to remove Modi, stumbling block was LK Advani.

Then 26/11 Mumbai massacre initiated by Pakistan based terrorists is the present burning issue. Pakistan can say if India has given intelligent reports on 26/11, it would have ensured 26/11 did not take place at all.

Now Pakistan does not want to initiate action against JUD chief Sayeed, in spite of hard core evidence that this man and Lakhvi and others based in Pakistan conspired 26/11 attacks in Mumbai.

Trial is on hard core terrorist- Ajmal Kasab, a Pakistani national (but denied by Pakistan that he is a Pakistani) (caught by Mumbai police alive in November 2008) who killed innocents numbering about 200 people in Mumbai on 26/11, at Taj, Trident hotels and at Chatrapati Shivaji terminus (renamed railway station in honor of Shivaji) (popularly known as Victoria Terminus railway station, built by British).

Clear evidences are produced by Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI of USA) before Indian criminal court at Mumbai, but Pakistan says, it is not enough evidence against Sayeed and Lakhvi and others.

Even Brijesh Misra a close confidante-advisor during BJP TENURE OF GOVERNMENT of the past PM Atul Behari Vajpayee holds that AtulJI would not have removed Jaswant Singh from core party activities for writing books.. He further says AtulJI was least interested in Ram Mandir or imposing of Article 370 on Muslims.
BJP survival is doubtful though it has a good base but tottering, as people of India do not believe it, any longer as a party which can really protect their interests. But BJP’s core committee’s behavior is just alienating the close core members and they are disassociating themselves from party.

So, soon similar fate will be in store, for every party with feudal /dictatorial approach, in Indian Politics. CPM and CPI are already on way out. Already every one knows how
CPM acted on then speaker of Lok Sabha Mr. Somnath Chatterjee, when he refused to resign as speaker matter at the instance of CPM DICTATE ON HIM, as polit bureau instruction.
All these show democratic approach to things just vanished in these parties but all senior leaders believe in democratic functioning is the way of life and it is a culture of India. This became abundantly clear in 2009 elections at West Bengal and Kerala. Chances are there fore for further electoral defeats for these parties. Now sun is ‘setting on these parties’ as people no longer trust these parties , people are mentally democratic and love democracy, as Indian democratic approach is there in Ancient India, from the days of Vaisali confederacy where was born Gautama Buddha was born.(ends)

It means one should create institutions that can be run by idiots means, ?dud? men, after all you cannot get so many thousands of ?geniuses?, to run your institution, one ?genius? alone will be like a ?sparrow? in the sky and can the sparrow make summer!

PVN told that once he pays back the entire loan amount he wanted to continue the mixed economy and not to cause capital convertibility etc, for that would upset the balance of the economic culture of Indian peoples.

Similarly Dr. Man Mohan Singh worked with his team of Motek Singh Alluwalia and P Chidambaram, Madhava Rao Scindia etc., in 1991. What could PVN realize even Vajpayee failed to understand and same problem is getting snow balled day by day to the very peril of the economy in India and similar kind of intellects WORLD OVER are running the world of today. Indian Elections and cynical Politicians & cynical journalists – Will they really help Indian Voters to get good governments – a Trillion Dollar Question – A Political chaos study!

Here I will narrate a Mahabharata story that great writer Akhilan’s mother told Suki Sivam, Suki Subramanyan another writer. She told small children some 40 year back.

How the world will be affected as seen in Mahabharata age.

One fine morning Ydhishtra while on throne at Hastinapura, some messenger reports that all his other four brothers – Arjun, Bhim, Nakhula and Sahadev – were under spell arrested in a place. Immediately, Yudhishtra rushes there. He sees all these brothers are standing in four circles like statue. He also sees a horse rider with a horse standing. Yudhistra asks him what happened? The rider says that your brothers asked what is the price of the horse. I said it has no price but one can get it without any payment provided one answers his questions as he looks for the answers. This is to say that he wanted Yudhishtra if interested to remove the spell on his brothers. Yudhistra agreed. The rider asks four questions: First question is that the rider saw in a well a small coin was hanging and underneath it a big mountain was hanging and he asks what does it mean? Yudhishtra answers that a small good done by a man represents the coin and a lot of sins committed by a man is the mountain and this state can be possible in the next Yuga. Appreciating the answer, the rider asks him to take his next brother out of the spell.

Again the rider narrates a scene of one well surrounded by four wells. All the wells are full of water. One fine morning the main well dries up. All the time water flows from main well to the subsidiary wells but when once main well dries up there is no water in the main well at all, as water used to flow from main well similarly from subsidiary well water is to come but that did not happen. He asks why? Yudhishtra says it is an analogy of parent and children. Children will draw all the possible from the parents and when parents in trouble children will not try to help the parents. Now the rider tells Yudhistra to take next brother. The rider says he saw a cow and a calf and calf was drinking milk from mother cow and asks what it denotes, Yudhishtra says it denotes mother will give anything for the child and now the third brother is taken away form spell. Another scene the rider narrates that a bullock and a calf. The bullock is sucking milk from the calf and the calf is feeding what it indicates he asks. For this Yudhishtra says that the parents when they start living at the cost of the children this is the situation. Fourth brother is out of spell and the rider when asked who he is he says he is the Kali Yuga the next Yuga to Dwapara Yuga to follow.

This is the way the present elections are moving in the lines of scenes depicted. It shows how shallow is the thoughts of petty political parties how they bargain with the main parties.

24 X 7 electronic channels forced electronic journalism to vie with other channels to get attention of the Viewers of the Idiot box more than normally they can view every day. Exclusive News Channels landed into higher riskier areas to broadcast news round the clock. That way they will get the advertisement support. Without advertisement supports no electronic channel or for that manner even print journalism will survive, after all you have to pay them traveling expenses and monthly wages and also attractive risk bonuses or incentives, unlike in the bygone journalism era.

In bygone journalist era-days, the journalists or for that matter News paper publishers were living in hand to mouth living. They would be happy if they could get even a lunch, a tea or a coffee or a drive and that means some body should provide minimum living opportunities. Even with that they enjoyed independence in their journalism and they did not do unethical journalism.

But today, every journalist wants to have all the comforts of life like any other senior company executive. Senior executive in a company used to manipulate things for the benefit of the company. In the similar way today ‘executive-journalist’ flaunting his college diplomas in journalism from Mass communication colleges try to do what the company executive with business management diplomas (recognized or unrecognized) do.

Today every body knows what worth is the college diplomas and these diplomas are just useful for making fast buck in the shortest term. This has become essential for every journalist as the person wants to be delving deep in consumerism – flaunt a car, bike, five star breakfast, lunch or dinner with a drink or other. For this habit, he or she becomes a slave. Once enslaved he or she would do anything for the event manager to write in the newspaper or produce with a camera for transmission on TV channel and also in the audio in a Radio channel, he or she would like high decibels of harsh words are used to psychologically attack the targets, like politicians. Earlier to do for the politician it was very difficult task and today it is easy to do from his chair with the help of journalist-friend.

That way the politicians started using this media today. So this media man is susceptible to do anything. All they want is a little comfortable money that could help them buy anything they want!

Days have come to such a pass; the politicians find a pressure to use this media to cater to their new demands against other politicians under personal vendetta or otherwise. I know several thugs in politics ask the journalist to report how he tortured his victim to send news that others will be afraid of such thugs. So this journalism has become handy for him and that way Al-Queda or Taliban uses their machine gunning their victims or raping women or whipping the girls or any kind of victim with any kind of weapon. The same is shown on the TV channels and that way they promote terror in the minds of people. That had given them a great mileage

Today, you find such ‘thugs’ are difficult to be controlled even by very powerful countries like USA. These men (thug catering journalists) (again they are syndicated journalists) show world trade center destruction called 9/11(of New York) and Taj/Trident Hotels fire and destruction called 26/11 (of Mumbai)

Nobody does this job for him freely and the media men can do really great job unless he or she is paid enough. One could have heard millions of dollars exchanged hands for such clips or even photographs and the media barons pay them. They in turn would make billions by printing on the pages of newspapers or exhibiting on the electronic-channels. Macabre stories and pictures fetch a lot of cash!

So they venture to use these men and women by flaunting all that needed a little more moneys, comforts etc. Even the policemen use these people for their personal purposes too. Thus these people have become a pan in the hands of moneyed man – the politician – why people come to politics just because they can get easy money only in this political business of flamboyance.

During elections, the politicians use this media right and left. In the past communists –CP (Marxist Leninist) and Naxals use this media and that way you will get the bad things done by them are literally portrayed through the journalist. They journalist is given secrecy of source protection even by the courts. This source protection is handy for others too and hence that secrecy of source clause is guaranteed under press ethics.

This is handy for the attacker and attacked. Yet ethics used to be there among journalists in those days compared to the level it is there with modern journalists today. This is not to cast any aspersions on journalism but it is to say that what is good in one way is definitely bad in another way.

Today you see now during elections, the more and more phases of elections are there that is being used as a convenience both by the Politicians and Electronic journalists much more effectively while it is also similarly effective in print media too.

You could have seen when a politician makes a vitriolic speech the same is transmitted in the media in the next few minutes unedited to get a mileage for the another politician to use the same in the same and similar vein. You could have seen when Rahul Gandhi in his press conference made a statement that he would congratulate Nitish Kumar of Bihar for his good work ( many would not have noted another statement he made to the pressmen that is ‘are you happy I should say like this’ (but the second part of the statement is cleverly omitted by all electronic media analysts to get a mileage by that statement of Rahul just to incite NDA men and Left party men and also ensure to lit up the anger in Lalu Prasad Yadav (RJD) and Paswan(LJD) when another statement of Rahul was highlighted that is ‘he would invite Nitesh to join UPA’, but the self same Lalu or Paswan did not bother to think what congress would have felt when these men lifted their hands with Left, and Mulyum Singh Yada to form Fourth front or when RJD gave to Congress just one or two seats to contest in Bihar by making statements that RJD and LJD has clout in Bihar and congress in just a non entity in Bihar!. This became a great opportunity for the Electronic media to bring the greater rift among the parties within UPA and NDA as also in Left and the like. This way the media en-cashed the rift so that people –voters would see political cleavages. But this is certainly not beneficial to the voter and in fact he gets more confused when he goes to election booth to whom to vote. So that way the electronic media is confusing the voters. Is it really expected of journalism as a fourth estate and in fact it has to be properly helping the voters! That way journalism is failing today in the rat race of drawing the attention in the 24 hour channels business!

This is not to say any thing bad of journalism but the practitioners of journalism are failing the citizens in their expected roles. If journalism itself to turn into politico-journalism then it is okay that is party spokespersons do and they are phased out journalists but to eke out their living they join parties at hefty salaries but is it okay for normal journalists to cater to the public is a trillion dollar question! This is just a louder thought of erstwhile journalists. (Ends)

An imaginary interview with Mr. Prof. Sivanandan, present Commissioner of Police, Mumbai – by Dr. G Balakrishnan, ex. visiting faculty of JBIMS, WITH HIS REMINISCENCES when both were to address on different days to 27 Top senior police officials of all States of India sometime in January 2006, as part of the training program organized by Union Home Ministry through JBIMS (Mumbai university) to reduce stress level of police, a psychological exercise!(Sunny News Interviewer- imaginary responses from Mr. Sivanandan)

This imaginary interview is the reflection of expectations of Mumbai citizens, after 26/11, as most of the citizens are concerned with safety and security of all people of Mumbai, irrespective of MNS activists cry for ‘Marati Manoos’ only shall be Mumbai!

Thank God, Raj Thakeray is not insisting CP post at Mumbai for Marati Manoos only, as ‘Raj is concerned with his own safety’, perhaps that did not make him to take the bogey of Marati Manoos, may be Raj is not sure about his own ‘Manoos’ only, when his own safety might be in trouble. So, too ‘Bal’ and ‘Uddhav’ of Shiv Sena. After all who wants to die!

You say you are the CEO of Mumbai – is it not difficult like the statement of JRD Tata statement –‘If I have any merit, it is getting along with individuals, according to their ways and characteristics…At times it involves suppressing yourself, it is painful but necessary … to be a leader you have got to lead human beings with affection.’ (1904 – 1993)…you have a big force of police men with different tastes developed by your predecessors in office of CP with their own commitments with so called ministers to make hay when sun shines, how would you propose to handle them, and even today your Home Minister seem to be much different than Mr. R R. Patil and he seems to have transferred ‘anti mafia police officer’ in Ms. Maithili Jha, an IPS from Mira road, a mafia infested surrounding area, reported in Mirror dated Aug 2, in which your real interview appeared, just because your Home Minister NCP-man Mr. Jayant Patil may have succumbed to them (Mafia), perhaps he might be needing moneys from such Mafia, as Maharashtra elections are in cards shortly? Does it mean Ministers can play police with the life of people who are forced to elect these worthies?

Siva.. When I was trained as IPS officer and posted to Maharashtra, I
thought I have complete free hand to fight and remove all unsocial elements, as I had been made to believe so in the Lal Bahadur Sastri Institute of Administrative Studies at Moussourie, but when I took position I was a little baffled lot and when I asked my colleagues, they said, ‘if you have to be successful, you have to toe the line of politicians in power’ that is the bane of democracy.

I felt sad. Yet ‘I made up my mind to work with contradictions’. Yes, you still have a method to work by convincing the politicians, the importance of public support of public. So I was able to do away 230 hardened criminals, some times these very criminals get a price over the head of politicians, also, those kinds of intelligent reports every time comes to us from intelligence net-work.

Purpose of police is to maintain law and Order. After all, supporting ‘wrong people’ when it becomes law and Order problem, politicians would like to ‘extricate themselves’, in the manner lesser problems of public outcry is acceptable to them, else their own lives will be in trouble.

Interviewer: Good. Now you see, Ms. Mithili Jha IPS sent out from
Mira Road and a state service police officer at his fag end of service is posted at Mira Road in her place, does it mean what that man paid to the Home Minister, in terms of money, has to be recovered by the policeman in charge and that way Ministers make scape goats out of people?

Siva. (Carefully) That I cannot say. Mostly policemen if they are not
mentally ‘Very-sound’, they just give in to such pressures of politicians. Politicians out of political workers make the bargain.

If political workers are just adamant, we will have to find a way out and deal with it. That is not very difficult at all, not succumbing to them, after all with a little of not so well-trained police force we have to maintain law and order at all costs. Police budgets are given a go by, by politicians

Problem sometimes arise from police man himself if he is imprudent, mostly they are unfortunately driven by greed. Mostly the problems arise by greed of men in the force and political-men too.

Int….Encounters are needed evil to maintain law and order is it not?

Siva... Smilingly, it is the best friend to weed out dead wood. Kings
did use, by their own Machiavelli machinations. Police senior men should read and study ‘Prince’, great work in Roman period, in Europe.

Int….Does it mean even the Governor can be made a scape-goat, as is
done-away with in ‘Prince’?

Siva… That is historical determination, as said by
Dr. S. Radhakrishnan, one of our most respected Presidents of India, in his essay on ‘Parliamentary Democracy’, under social and political histories of any country, after all no one can rule for ever unless he or she is prudent enough to understand the people’s minds or prisoners’. That was proved in France in Bastille prison break-in. In this they just guillotined all jailers, nobles, even the king and queen

Int….You have got proper understanding of social and political cum
economic history.

If you want to save earth, you have understand ‘Earth is an incredible place, teeming with animals, insects, fishes,, birds, plants and people. All these species react when things become unbearable…like honey bees, when you unnecessarily attack, it will retaliate and its retaliation is such, it will take time to recuperate.

Like Nova’s Ark in space, earth (it) provides a home, for all. It gives shelter, warmth,, food, water, (we drink), and air( we breath).

Like Nova’s boat, our Ark needs looking after. Its air, oceans, and rains need to be cleaned up, its forests saved and its soil protected from harmful influences of chemicals, man created unnecessarily to his own peril.

Indeed it is very difficult task but we have to protect earth and we cannot escape from it. So is the principle of Law and Order, is a mechanism to save environment of man and animals, plants, -fore rests…

You as police man you are right to call yourself as CEO of Mumbai with brimming population.

Public minded minister or politicians need no policeman to protect him, …..but self glorifying selfish-minister or politician can be saved by policeman only with big police posse.

Actually this kind of men masquerade as politicians and ministers supporting mafias... like Dawoods and you are seeing what is happening to Pakistani politicians and in fact they are controlled by Taliban, LeT and like men…the same story might befall on Indian politicians, if they do not mend their ways, may be exterminated by such forces in India too, can the politicians think they are safe with the Mafia – enemies of common man.

But if common man arises all these men including Mafias could be exterminated for ever!. Whether our politicians want to meet this situation sooner or latter?

Siva…No politician or his kin would like to meet such quick finish of,
after all they want to rule 100 more years, to live with their grand- grand - great children, hence they cling to power not knowing the power is such a double edged weapon.

As a matter of fact, I have to tackle situations of 26/11, as still the disaster management is not in place in Mumbai, after all Mumbai is about 500 sq. kilometers mega polis with about 2 crores of population, with a very big sea front in the west.

I think of going to USA to study how they are tackling 9/11 of New York and how they are protecting other mega polis in USA, after all we are concerned with after 26/11.

USA is unusually friendly to India, and we have to protect ourselves and simultaneously be continuously in research and development of disaster management till Al Qaeda, Taliban, LeT and like forces in our neighboring Pakistan are completely nipped.

Int….You are a fitting CEO and many CP(s) in Maharashtra take to
your foot steps (cue), after all many of them great Yes Minister type, unfortunately many politicians do not know their end will be sooner, as they will be exterminated by mafia forces, after Mafia is Mafia, it has no relationship at all and it also does not believe in relations, as they are prudent all relations are just time serving mechanism.

So we do not know when the politicians’ as pack of cards will collapse, after all, all of them build castles in air, not knowing realities.

Mr. Veerappa Moily, our great Union Law Minister is in pipe dream on Gay Judgment of Delhi High Court, without realizing religious unacceptability of such a ‘U’ turn in Social structural prudence, like Mohammed Bin Tughlak when moved capital from Delhi to Doulagiri, considered a man ahead of times and he had make a beating of Retreat.

Unfortunately Indian Gay population is jus a miniscule and how that will help Congress to bag big majority, anybody’s guess, after all India all said and done is conservative and you see you passed all Dowry Laws but still Dowry is going on and very ministers and politicians, executives need dowry.

The same fate will be if Gay Laws are made and it is definite Congress might lose many seats in Maharashtra assembly elections, if it goes ahead with Gay Laws.

Power of people will exterminate all these worthies. Under Constitutional dispensations the people control themselves and under the same dispensations, these worthies too understand their Fundamental Duties. ‘Terra incognita’ replaced ‘Terra Firma’ in management thinking process in 21st century world, thanks to explosion in information and implosion, as we have to work with un-chartered course of events, called ‘Exploration’ – ‘accelerated changes’ – charges from un-chartered highways without any infrastructure developments at all –money, or raw materials – fierce competition, markets turning merciless, causing rampant migrations of people seeking refuge from place to place till one reasonably settles, small organizations skillfully outsmarting big ones.

- ….redefine again, climate changes in peoples’ thinking process?

- ….you are in a world determined by majority as minority rules are not sustainable at all, as your business life is at the beck and call of customers, without them you are no where?

- …. Expand your vision horizon, clarity; rethink future, as a process of conduct, which we have to go through individually?

- …Process of conduct, edit, information, every time you get it, or you give to others, due to changing psychological process?

- ….Future being uncertain, different from past experiences, you cannot rely on your past experiences even if you want, as the past gets entangled with new experiences and you just cannot decipher – continuously analyze in a non linear way – make your own deductive and inductive logics, may not be useful, but to some extent give you some signs of improvement, but not necessarily always, use permutations and combinations of inductive vis a vis deductive logics and vice versa mixes?

- ….No point in clinging to an idea of something has gone ‘wrong’ and yet cannot be fixed but yet try to fix, if you can, no doubt enormous efforts not necessarily fruitful, many a time…means you have to continuously strive to –like men who think… ‘Tough times do not last long but tough men can last longer’, as per Robert Schiller, that is how missionaries work in their tough work among all kinds of odds?

- …Never live in delusions – past is dead and will never repeat – think you have come to a dead end, and start your new exploration in a new future without any kind of infrastructure of path finder… ever get contentment with exploration an arduous task?

- …new time call for new organizing – no early drive of sedans..?

- ….Completely new organizational vehicles to go on rough and tumble pathways…say like olden days people went on pilgrimages never sure to come back? If you come back you are blessed or doubly blessed?

- …Reflect on information like a trip on ‘Chandrayan’ exploration of Moon mission by ISRO?

ROAD STOPS HERE...

- Refuse to believe future is linear but future is to be like a trophy

- Future is unbelievable as pathway is not a sure way but a tough exploration with no surety of coming back to your old position.

- No predictability at all. If it works it out work it out till it is possible and be ready to take some thing new when this one fails sooner or latter.

- Every situation gives false conclusions – like one Taliban Leader in Masud is dead or killed, next heir is no sure to succeed and possibly he will be killed due to feuds in the Taliban set up – an attrition mechanism will always surface - there is no surety Taliban organization can survive at all, even Osama Bin Laden is not going to be permanent arbiter and he would be some figure head today possibly. That is the trend of futurity. Every situation is just nebulous!

- False conclusions are sure like computer virus

- Future continuity is sure but the continuity is just as nebulous as any thing, unless you program yourself clearly in non-linear way;

- Exciting thing about future is non continuity of future everyday and every night;

- You cannot look at future with any certainty…like…boys did information technology cannot be sure of placement at all that is futuristic, though they might have spent fortune of time and money, when the fertile imagination of soft ware companies comes to a stand still.

- Like that core Engineers lost out to information technologists and it is their turn, that is the position today….business schools should redesign themselves else they will die too soon, as time and tide wait for none;

- Immigration and education elsewhere will lost out once attraction is gone for ever... see in Australia Indian students once flocked there will not touch Australia as destination, and same will happen every where and if so what will you do is to think something new avenues of new education as old education will have to yield to new;

- No more fault engineering works, in any kind of business conditions; so re-engineering –is not old whine in new bottle!

- Do not ever think that you are highly skilled and capable to tide over things is the current dispensation of 21st century. It replaces one even if he or she is not equal to you, for your talents are no longer needed, as new talent is needed to fend and oar the ship of business;

- Go out of gravitational pull theory as new pulls are operating, so be vigilant all through 24 hours, 7 days a week, any thing can happen, so governments all over totter; how your business sustain, in turbulence of complex factors operating in multi paradigm structures your business is in;

- Stop looking at future any longer as a free highway for you, as there is no high way at all, but a turbulent rough and tumble creeks, precipices, distributed and that will handle you;

- Make intellectual leap forwards in a non linear pattern sans logics and that is the new logics;

- Now network is working and work with so long as net work works, and if it fails, innovate new ways

- Be simple, prudent and flexible; Do not over spend, conserve.

- Be highly specialized, so long as that specialization is needed by people in a global economy which is attacked by serious vicissitudes of new needs;

- No longer geography has any relevance in internet world;

- Global economic battles soon will be replaced by resource battles, leading to wars, to take over new natural resources, as out sourcing is coming to an end sooner;

- Technology democratizes not just work place, but our societies and the world…everything is running towards precipices of creeks of governance in governments and businesses…major businesses will soon collapse yielding to small and compact ones! E.g. AIG, Lehman Bros, Fredies…

- Your business should be like four wheeler jeeps to take turns instantaneously;

- Four wheel drive jeeps shall be biological organisms, no more machines ;

- No more continuous improvements – as radical changes overtake and so adapt to new needs, no compromise on quality of your product;

- Task of immense proportions going through the eye of a needle, if you want stay put in any business;

- Change, change , change is the charging mechanism of this new century;

- Business transformations are real today. No pit to stop is the new shift of this century.

-How to go about changing mental models into ones those are more systemic in nature, learn to look at the whole organization?

- What kind of role will technology play in the transformation of very business process?

Actually this mandate for Congress is a great graveyard to regional parties and theories of development of regional parties and consolidation and coalitions also hit the blind end of the road.

This is being realized by the regional parties and in this DMK a bit intelligent and clever operator started realizing that their credibility as Regional party to hold any longer in Tamil Nadu is also going to hit the end. Then what will happen to them is the consternation sulking in them.

Similarly now most of the regional parties, like RJD, SP, BSP, under secular banner all have come to support the Congress government in the center from outside. It will not be a wonder if Nitish Kumar (Bihar) comes forward to support at a later date, and seeing him Biju Patnaik (Orissa) will rush to support congress from outside, sooner or later, for their own very survival in their own states!.

This is a ploy to tell their respective electorates but for them the Congress could not have done this and that. In the similar vein pre-poll allies also try to show some flexibility and want to be in the government just to tell their electorates tomorrow but for them, Congress could not have achieved this and that kind of statements to crave indulgence of their respective electorates

In this band falls DMK, (a drama party!), TC (Trinamool Congress) West Bengal of Mamata NCP (National congress Party) of Mr.Sharad Pawar.

Every independent would boast to his electorate but for him the Congress would not have done this wonder and that just to keep the electorate in tact and in good humour with him.

There is enormous or mortal fear is there in the allies, as the electorate is slowly shifting back to National Parties and thus the regional parties vote share is steadily falling/ dwindling.

In the similar way it has also happened with BJP in some pockets, though BJP as such did not perform well in the election so also Communists who are loosing credibility with the people. That is indeed a very dangerous development for the very survival of communist parties in India, that is, the days for their end is consistently approaching, after all people got fed up with communist ideology and many suspect communists, as stooges of China. That effect is felt in Nepal – Prachanda was practically asked to step down as PM of Nepal when he attempted to dismiss Nepal Army General by saying that General is conspiring with India and the like.

In this process what these regional parties would do is getting into hard bargaining for portfolios like DMK has been trying to get 5 cabinet posts and 4 minister of state positions (one or two independent charge) in the Union Cabinet and aiming to get very important portfolios while Trinamool is trying to play the same card when Mamata said she should get ministerial berths one berth more than what DMK is getting!

On the top of it she is pitching for common minimum program (CMP) while it is no longer relevant at all. But this is to help her say in the forthcoming state of west Bengal elections in 2011 that she did this and that to get the electorate support away from Congress. But any way Congress will say no way! So CMP is buried with honours!

Now in News channels and in print media there are many camouflaged journalists while they are some kind of party men just infiltrate in media so that their respective parties get free coverage on their vituperative speaking abilities to show that they can ask anything to inconvenience of the interviewee (mostly chosen from national parties present or pervious MPs/MLAs) that is what we see in TV channels. Some are pure journalists and some the faked journalists. This way also parties start operating just to protect the parties’ interests in the polity. Alas this ploy also will fail in due course and the channels or press sooner or later may weed such infiltrators, to save their credibility as Media!

Now when you look at DMK of Tamil Nadu. It enjoys 97 seats in TN assembly and it could form government with the help of 35 seats of congress and if this 35 seats move to ADMK of 80 seats from DMK, naturally DMK government is set to fall and ADMK can come to power much earlier than the next state elections and also this can help ADMK to work so well in the government in Tamil Nadu for the benefit of the people and thus outdo DMK to get elected for the next term too! Even if Congress does not support ADMK, still there will be hung legislature, fit to be dissolution.

That is the trump card with Congress! Why Congress should over bend to DMK, but yet DMK (a drama party) will attempt this drama to Tamil electorate that DMK had powerful pull on congress. Do you mean to say that will work when all Indian Congress tally in election is clearly 206 seats!

You could have observed in regard to LTTE statues in Sri Lanka issue during the Lok Sabha election time, the said LTTE is really routed and decimated by Sri Lanka, and DMK, ADMK, PMK will all their tantrums, Congress was plain and simple not to give too much credence to the issue and even went on record to say, that if Sri Lanka captures Prabhakaran alive he should be handed over to India for necessary trial in connection with Rajiv Gandhi (former PM of India) assassination case at Sriperumpudur

Even though this Prabhakan is eliminated and LTTE is practically shattered in such a way that it cannot come back again in Sri Lanka, all these Tamil Nadu parties after a little agitation, gave up their so called liberation of Eelam demand in Sri Lanka, as a separate country!

This shows Tamil parties have lost all their teeth of survival. All such drama is just to survive in power not that they are so much interested in Tamils in Sri Lanka. In fact every next generation in the same family does not want the previous generation to share with the next generation and the next generation does not mind to eliminate the previous generation even by killing the previous generation.

That way your property disputes surface. When the life is like that, do you mean to say you will be worried about someone who has no relationship with you except both you and he speaks same language? So it is all drama and theatricality in reality!

DMK knows this after all; no party is loyal as such like the DMK too for some so-called principles. Yet the parties will fool people so long as the people are willing to be fooled.

It is not the loyalty of DMK, but it is a theatrical show.

If congress has not got 206 seats in Lok Sabha the self-same DMK would have much misbehaved. So there is nothing like loyalty as such but that word is conveniently used for some convenience by these parties

If DMK is foolish enough to pick up quarrel with Congress in the sharing of Cabinet composition it is bound to lose out.

Adamant politicians are there in every party so too in DMK and the DMK party would just black mail octogenarian Karunanidhi and in fact he is already tired and practically in retiring mood or stage and in this way he wants his children to come to power.

That way he is cleverly moving. He wants his son Stalin in Tamil Nadu politics and Alagiri in central politics so too his daughter Kanimozhi.

In the same vein he has to accommodate TR Baalu (BC) and Raja (Dalit) in central politics so that his family is in proper hold of party and government with the help of Indian National Congress.

Actually he wanted to keep his personal interests of his children in place at the very cost of DMK as a party! That idea is foiled, after all his negotiations only delayed the formation of central cabinet at Union level but if DMK further tried to pursue the same tactics, naturally Congress party would have gone on its own in forming the government sans DMK after all the government has got to attend to several pressing issues like recession forced upon India and fall in Revenue and increasing gap in fiscal management. That is already at gigantic proportions unless the government addresses the issue on a war footing.

After all Indian consumer has reduced his spending fearing what will happen tomorrow, let me save whatever I have is the consumer philosophy started to play in the mind of all consumers. After all nobody is sure of tomorrow, so he wants to be careful today.

If this persists growth paradigm is in dangerous cross- paradigm, after all government has to improve the confidence levels of the Indian consumer. That cannot take place overnight.

NRI(s) are not going to support prodigals any longer; after all they are also under pressure of their own employments in doll drums with the foreign employers. Some how or other one has to save him in the catch 22 situation.

Indian economy paradigm has to be addressed from public finance angle not commercial financial perceptions. Governments are to work on public finance systems basis as they have to address macro issues of the Nation or a State while a single company can work on micro basis, that is the very principle of economics of financing.

Madam Sonia is a clever and enlightened recluse in Congress and she may be kind to give protection to these local regional parties and they just want to take advantage, but it cannot be accepted by Congress-men not understanding her strategy.

They had spent all their lives in Congress and with new genre in the party again to perpetuate their claims. Indeed Congress is the oldest Indian party in its perceptions except some kind of here and there approaches with Hindutva philosophy at sustainable levels only.

Any extreme position of philosophy will not sustain and they had the taste of the cross situation in the election results with national color with secularist credentials while BJP is not yet fully a National, because it is working even today with a thought line that this country belongs to the Hindus only and only Hindus should rule. If that perception is there why then they allowed Gaznis, Ghoris, Khiljis, …Moghals, then Dutch, Portuguese and the British…it means that mental division did not work at all. These Hindus tried that kind of mental division in Rajasthan so that ‘Sati’ was followed when there were Muslim inroads. So that path what they follow will not attract any more followers and infact followers numbers will just dwindle. That is what is happening today!

They (BJP) have to refurbish their mindset and thus their policies. After all Damocles’ sword is hanging on the heads of Narendra Mody and like men of Gujarat at the hands of SIT and the Supreme Court and the Court is bent upon cornering him and hand the appropriate punishment sooner or later, to the very consternation of the BJP as a party which madly followed irresponsible dispensations at Babri Masjid demotion, as if Muslims in India are not Indians,. The trusth most of the Muslims are Hindu converts forcibly converted by Moslems during their inroads like Huns from China. In the Military management of administration principle is when you annex a territory try to rape as many women as possible so that the offshoots from them will be having the soft corner with the invaders and they will turn against their own kith and kin. Knowing these only Hindu women were forced to die along with their husbands once they are killed in war in Rajasthan the most affected state during invasions.

So very survival of BJP as a credible party is in shambles, after all people in Indian democracy is the ultimate and to that extent all parties have accepted. Further there cannot be any kind of Military Rule to surface just because Military men are by nature democratic in perceptions in the Indian forces after all these men are also the products of just thinking Indian citizens.

That BJP Hindutva is separating people from other bigger/larger communities like Muslims and Christians, as they lack the sagacity to run national politics, since not acceptable to the people of India and it is further strengthened by inter religions marriages that are happening in India several decades on leading to demolition of religious divide but the people of India treat religion as something private and it has nothing to do with politics. So the BJP perceptions are at the tether end. Perhaps it is losing its grip on the Indian people!

In one of his articles Swaminathan S Ankalasaria Aiyar in Economic Times (20 May issue) wrote ‘ almost all the theories put forward by political analysts to explain the victory of the UPA in general and Congress in particular are partial explanations at best’.

He is also partially right at best in his details while it is true, political analysts, psephologists, etc., have miserably failed in their calculations because all of these people suggested 2009 elections will lead to hung Parliament with a shandy (Market) for support at some price! Indeed it is 100% misunderstanding by analysts.

He considered the following questions: 1 Is this a vote for secularism?; 2. Is it true the congress party is back on the road to its old political dominance under Rahul Gandhi? 3.Whether voters are tired of caste-based -regional parties and are heading back, toward national parties?; 4.Whether the congress gained greatly from populist schemes like NREGS(National Rural Employment Guarantee scheme, and the farm waiver? And 5. Whether rural prosperity boosted by five years of good monsoon gave the Congress a big boost?

The congress won 206 out of 543 seats of Lok Sabha while as UPA the seat position stood at 261, say a shortfall of 11 seats to make the magic mark of 272 seats out of 543 seats.

The Congress got overall percentage of Indian voters at 28.6% (as vote share). In UP the position stood at 18.3% far lower than Mayawati’s 27.4%, or Samajvadi party tally of 23.3%. In Rajya Sabha Congress commands 29 seats.

When I considered the following questions, my answers are definitely different to that of Ankalaseria Iyer (Economic Times) and let us look how?

1. Is this a vote for secularism?

Secularism is the basic structure of the Indian constitution because the very contrivance for the creation of the Indian Constitution is the Constituent Assembly and it considered for the peaceful coexistence of all religions in unity of diversity pattern and hence approach is certainly secular – worldly, though some parties like BJP (Jan Sangh) started questioning the validity of secular (worldly) approach to life and living.

That is why BJP had to eat the humble pie in the election while Congress could corner or muster most of the voters after all they believed in worldly approach of peaceful co-existence as they had seen how the life became miserable after Babri Masjid episode

People got totally modified on the basis of their own wisdom and discarded the BJP thought process and they feel indeed sorry for the divisive approach of BJP in the Indian population. Voters believe in peaceful coexistence and peaceful living and leading a peaceful life away from all kinds of unnecessary strife. So it is a vote for secularism.

2. Is it true the Congress party is back on the road to its old political dominance under Rahul Gandhi?

Yes, Rahul understood the meaning of old political dominance in the mind of Indian as the founding fathers of the Indian constitution saw the divisive politics really divided India and that divisive thoughts really permitted the outsiders could play havoc in the Indian polity, after the problem first created between Prithviraj Chuhan and Jayachandra in1191 AD and that divisiveness invited the Gaznis and Goris in Indian scene in India as Goris understood to keep the people of India under their tutelage or control.

They have to maintain divisiveness in the mindset of the Indian-people. This went further during Moghals followed by similar Islamic Rules and further followed by European invaders in India.

They tried to keep perpetual divisiveness between Muslims and Hindus and that helped British to hold this India for abut 150 years more. This aspect was fully appreciated by most of the Indian constituent assembly members. They wanted an end for this divisiveness.

But attempted to be revived by BJP by Babri Masjid episode and that effect continued till the beginning of 2009 but same 2009 peoples’ verdict is for secular approach after proper appreciation and people awareness campaign by Rahul in his brotherhood communication to all in the country and that caught the imagination of the Indian voters irrespective of religions and castes and the like. So yes Rahul revived the old thought of Indian constituent assembly to carve out Independent India. Credit goes to Rahul in finding an end to caste-ism and religious chauvinism.

3.Whether voters are tired of caste-based -regional parties and are heading back, toward national parties?

Yes, self-interested politicians desiring divisiveness to perpetuate political satraps misguided voters. Blinkers of caste-based regional parties were removed once after the voters realized how ignorantly they submitted themselves to these politicians.

So voters should be vigilant against the political strategists. That is the verdict of the 2009 elections.

Congress patient waiting paid rich dividends through Rahul who could realize the folly of other parties excessively working for their political survival.

So it is true the final bell is also wrung to these divisiveness. Even Arjun Singh removal from HRD is the result of this new thought, after all Arjun Singh of Congress was over playing Backward tickets against the principles of Indian constitution. Similarly, it is an end to Karunanidhi DMK politics of questioning the sensitive issues of Sethu Samudram after all it affected the secular culture of India.

Karunanidhi even wanted to bring in amendments to the Indian Constitution stating it is stale as it was not convenient to him.

So the very people who made these parties to work for sometime will root out the regional politics and they themselves found these parties outlived their existence.

You cannot attack the sentiments of average Indian under any kind of priorities and those sentiments are the protector of environmental philosophy of regions.

After all environment problem is genuine and the so-called progressive ideas are some kind of black mailing mechanism.

One could have seen in West Bengal at Nadigam the villager did not agree to Nano project at the cost of agricultural lands and those agricultural lands in the name of Special Economic Zones cannot be destroyed is the clear message delivered and that even went to the extent of shaking the CPM government.

So the voters are asserting their rights forgetting the so-called religious divide and in fact the various followers of religion joined together in the common fight that you cannot destroy agriculture for your Special Economic Zone.

Similar agitations surfaced in Panvel (Maharashtra) when Mr. Vilas Rao Deshmukh, Chief Minister of Maharashtra to provide big chunk of land to Reliance Ambanis in the name of special economic or export zones.

Congress also should keep a watch on the Congressmen who want to do deliberate harm to Agricultural lands just to benefit self gains of the politicians.

In the name of progressiveness, you cannot forget the age-old perceptions of living.

Similarly, the people in Devanahalli (Bangalore-Karnataka) really did not like the international new airport at the cost of their land holdings even though it gave a fast buck for the villagers and yet most of the villagers did not like the government’s intrusion in their private lives and living mechanism with sustainable growth.

People like Deva Gowda(JD) and Yeddiurappa(BJP) have affected the environment of Karnataka(Bangalore) and in fact really affected the normal environment of Bangalore and they have badly damaged Bangalore environment, even according to Medical specialists as they find there are a lot of new diseases among people in Bangalore is showing their heads in hordes, in the so called process of progressive Information Technology centers developing in the city.

The Bangalore city is really polluted thanks to over crowding of buildings and destruction of tress to help constructions activities of all kinds of infrastructures, without consideration of environment. Even environmental laws are just flouted by these governments there in place in Karnataka, in the name of economic development.

Economic development cannot take place at the cost of environment and yet the governments went on giving exemptions by environmental clearances of special nature while one cannot question the Nature and Nature laws

Now the people are feeling the brunt due to uncreative thinking in the government circles of Karnataka and elsewhere too.

Still the governments have not realized the problems in correct measure. If you want to develop infrastructure you will have to think in several ways to basically protect the environment and un-damageable methodologies have to be worked out by the urban planners, any where in the world.

Poor people would suffer otherwise and suffering of poor people have forced the poor people to rise against the governments.

The ground water tables in the Bangalore city area is depleted and bore-wells do not get any more water. Water scarcity is looming large in monstrous proportions and this will get enlarged if monsoons fail.

Now in Madhya Pradesh government is looking to skies to provide drinking water to the people and if rains fail a lot of people will naturally die in MP for want of water.

Today people fight for water and die and no rains people will just naturally die. So economic development means properly protecting the environment is vital. Regional parties just looking for employment alone will be imbalanced perspective; and thus to develop infrastructure and bringing in companies does not mean development if the State Governments give a go by to the environment realities. Earlier they realize the better is the message the facts are saying emphatically today.

So it is high time real education drills in Universities should be emphasized, failing it will bring miseries to people at large is the message again

4.Whether the congress gained greatly from populist schemes like NREGS (National Rural Employment Guarantee scheme, and the farm loan waiver?

Yes, NREGS and farm loan waivers to the extent of Rs.65000 crores of last Dr. Manmohan Singh Union government really helped the farmers and that also contributed to Congress return to government formation once again with a better verdict.

Dr. Manmohan Singh should ensure that at all costs no environment should be attacked in the name of economic development. If you cannot bring economic development at the cost of environment, then so be it is the message.

So it is high time planners cannot afford to forget the environment at all. If they forget naturally there will be natural calamities popping up their heads to exterminate the humans. This is again a new kind of genocide!

People will wait for sometime and if it affects them then there will be all round agitations, which the prime minister has to note, and appropriate strategies he should work out with the help of Environment Ministries and just not by issuing some so called exemption notifications please! Vilas Rao did in CRZ in Mumbai and it may sooner or later will backfire; after all former CM of Maharashtra Vilas Rao is not Natural God (super human power) to tide over natural calamities!

And 5. Whether rural prosperity boosted by five years of good monsoon gave the Congress a big boost?

Yes but if environment is attacked in the name of infrastructure naturally good monsoon will become a Blue Moon to the Nation.

After all we do not have technology, which can provide water, air etc by synthetic mechanics and till the time we can create synthetic water, synthetic air etc., you will have to carefully plan developments is the message.

Courts also should not turn a deaf ear to petitions regarding water and environmental pollution issues by simply stating some statue of the government or the other is in place but courts also should understand that if the government cannot provide water, energy and air etc by any special methods then naturally they should set aside such so called notifications of the governments concerned, after all constitutional courts are the custodians of the Indian Constitution and the living of Indian man in India and hence courts shall assert over the irrational parliamentary dispensations, after all people are primary for the country and they have to be saved at all costs is the message.

Yes it is the monsoons provided water to the country/ies, which cannot be forgotten by any Government and even by United Nations.
So the message is loud and clear that you have to protect the environment at all costs! (Ends)

Peter Drucker said ‘ several decades ago. ‘For it is character through which leadership is exercised, it is character that sets the example and is initiated in turn. What will be decisive, in the future even above all in the future even more than in the past is neither education nor skill, it is integrity of character’.

Harish Manwani quotes William Hesketh Lever’s statement ‘I believe that nothing can be greater than business, however small it may be, that is governed by CONSCIENCE, and nothing can be meaner or more petty than a business, however large, governed without honesty and without brotherhood.’

Manwani on difference between Winning and Losing in the long run is Leadership and integrity. After all, it not just what you do or what you achieve that will ultimately stand the test of time’, BUT CHARACTER.

I was shell shocked on 26/11 (Mumbai most popularly we called Bombay) like americans on 9/11 at New York. I was looking in cnn, bbc, ndtv 24 x 7 and doordarshan and soon I realized that Indian Police systems said there are 40 terrorists and then the figure went down to 20 and yet they could kill 8. In a few hours I could hear some one person was caught by a policeman without any gun, leave alone AK 47 or AK 56 no doubt at the cost of his life while 3 ATS tops died with ammunition without catching any. What a rough and tumble? We are also bogged down by senseless fall of our so called Sensex, then Nymex, then by American stocks. Adding fuel to fall Lehman bros, Frankies, Morgans and so on rolling down. USA was steeply leveraging on the tax payer moneys while blaming all others of their leveraging.

I was seeing realties were getting into realistics of downturns. Bankers filled chapter 11 cases and so on. I was badly hauled up by all these events. I was wondering what is in store for us in 2009. Terrorists' attacks gave us a strength to face the muddle with a sense of belonging in the fighting against terrorism jointly and severally. yes we have to fight our way through and there is no other way. That way 2009 brought in us sense of unity and purpose in us all. So in the bad things also we get some closeness to fend our ways. So this 2009 will lead us to stability..

A conference was held at Dr. DY Patil’ Deemed University’ department of Business management at Belapur (Navi Mumbai) on 20th December (Saturday) with the theme - ‘today in the arena of the globalization, business decisions are no longer local. The international business is all about focusing on the resources of the globe as well as business opportunities and threats prevailing in the global market. We go international for enhancing our potentials across the border for expansion, diversification, growth and development. A good theme indeed!

This is just to share knowledge of experienced and dynamic professionals.

The National conferences on International Businesses and similar should just not turn out to be a farce to students, academicians, and professionals to interact incoherently.

The event managers wanted to get addresses on – entry into the global business – logistic for international business – foreign exchange management (Forex) – special economic zones (SEZs) – impact of world trade organization – globalization education and challenges ahead – global crisis and its effects on Indian businesses and the like.

Men from Retail trade, Paints, Petro chemicals, Instruments, auto industry, power and shipping, logistics, software developer and radio were invited to address the above issues.

Participants (mostly students and some faculty members) are drawn from local area (Navi Mumbai area) business schools apart from some industry from MIDC industry belt.

After exhortations from the director of the department and some board of governors of the said university with pros and cons related perceptions with wooing-ploy for the students to join their management courses of these business schools which abound this New Mumbai popularly called Navi Mumbai. You cannot learn without properly comprehending concepts, Clarity in perceptions and then you just cannot communicate. The another ploy used by the ‘Universities’ today is Students should assess the faculty and not the faculty. What you will get? That perception itself is highly lop sided if you ask a student to assess the teaching capability of the teacher, he will always find fault with the teacher, as taught does not want to work hard at all. But this is a ploy to get students with money bags but not merits please. Neither merited teacher will come to these institutions nor can they produce merited students to take up tasks ahead in their work life.

If at all they come they will be fence sitters just to make some money in a leisurely way at the cost of the very student himself or herself. It is always said studentship is indeed a very difficult process to learn and hence you find in every educational institution there are more and more drop outs and finishing the courses if the institutions insist for merit of the student. If the college wants to just to survive at all costs well then it can make money but sooner or latter it will have to wind up and indeed that is the phenomenon in business of every kind

In fact management education is facing the problem like real estate sector as also information technology, so too financial institution sectors. After all students mob the courses which give them fast high remuneration packages which one could get over several years of exposure to any particular profession.

Once the business schools fail to provide this aspect of living, naturally, the relevance of management education is in shambles. Remuneration packages are not the factor in education but sustainability of that education in times of need. Otherwise you just have police force and policemen do not know how to use rifles and indeed that is the state of affairs. One Police man (traffic) told me when I asked him why before you vehicles just do not honor the Zebra Lines that the RTOs just give licenses to the vehicle drivers without knowing the normal traffic rules. How come I can control these situations? Every day thousands of vehicles ply and no driver honors the zebra line rule. I can fine if a few do wrong but every one does then, whom to fine is the query writ large on his face. Same is the situation with educational institutions today

This is to be understood by many Indian States’ based business schools today due to big lag on flip-flop economy by way of inflation-recession-inflation and fall in currency rates or values.

The people after paying a heavy price in the so called economic development have become a little wise not to waste their cash reserves or borrowed funds to get into adventures any longer, for their own wards. When they are going to learn to spend prudently?. However signs of questioning have started emerging of late. This happens when one’s pocket rocks to the bottom!

The real situation is as Joseph E Stiglitz (Nobel Prize economist) holds that John Maynard Keynes perceptions have triumphantly marched in the 21st economic scenario.

His view is that it is imperative that we not just respond adequately to the current crisis but undertake the long run reforms that will be necessary if we are to create a more stable, more prosperous and equitable global economy.

Another Nobel laureate in economics Amartya Sen in his ‘Development Freedom’ holds the view –‘we live in a world of unprecedented opulence of a kind that would have been hard even to imagine a century or two ago. And yet we also live in a world with remarkable deprivation, destitution and oppression. There are many new problems as well as old ones, including persistence of poverty and unfulfilled elementary needs. , occurrence of famines and widespread hunger, violation of elementary political freedoms as well as of basic liberties, extensive neglect of the interests and agency of women and worsening threats to our environment and to the sustainability of our economic and social lives………….We have to recognize the role of freedoms of different kinds in countering these afflictions. Indeed individual agency is ultimately central to addressing these deprivations……freedom of agency that we have individually is inescapably qualified and constrained by the social, political and economic opportunities that are available to us. There is a deep complimentarily between individual agency and social arrangements….’ And thus he bemoaned.

Neo liberal push for ‘deregulation’ served some interests. Financial markets did well through capital market liberalization. This helped America to sell its ‘junks’ in financial products and engage in speculation all over the world, may have served its firms well even if they imposed large costs on others.

Large costs on ‘others’ mean you are depressing the ‘others’ and these ‘others’ are ‘dumped’ like dead bodies in a war-time scenario. This is the problem of speculation all over the world. Many ‘haves’ overnight have become or tuned out to be ‘have-nots’, in a fraction of seconds or minutes (practically beggars) (Recently in America it is said many dog owners left the dogs on the roads or streets to fend for themselves just because the said owners found themselves that they are no longer able to feed the dogs..). This is the problem of neo-liberal push of deregulation. In fact the governments did not do their jobs of regulating things so that problems can be kept under control but unfortunately governments also participated in deregulation themselves. What will happen? You saw 26/11 at Mumbai terrorist attacks. These take place once the controls are at very low key. What is the point of blaming a terrorist, after all he looks for such opportunity to strike! In fact the Maharashtra government was really very friendly for terror attacks even on vital locations in south Mumbai. May be these attacks will increase if the governments do not buckle up by proper emergency measures.

Fed Reserve chairman Ben Bernanke- and Treasury Secretary of Bush Administration Paulson bailouts were dis-adventurous and mis-adventurous and thus messed up tax payers moneys.

This mess up remarkably despite the bailout size has done little to rekindle lending. After all it is like a man not knowing swimming falls into a flooding river course, if you attempt to save him you will be hauled by that man to your end and it is a universal rule. You cannot save him and what is the point of saving, if all the people are to drown to death. That is the way ‘Neo liberalism push’ in deregulation worked.

Regulation is a time tested phenomenon and hence the governments are needed.

People wanted monarchies, dictatorship, democracies ( not mockocracies) (mockery of democracy), and military rulers and so on.

You see today in Pakistan that President Mr. Zardari said earlier that he would send his ISI chief to India to investigate and somersaulted in a few days, as he was not a seasoned politician, when Chief of Army staff Gen. Asfaq Kayani warned him that if you do this, later India will call the President to send Kayani himself and no Nation worth the name will yield for such requests of threats, that is regulation. Vagueness of Mr. Zardari is putting him in tight spot of seeking war with India! Strategize and if you fail to strategize well you have your end nearby is the principle. That is the message for inexperience men! That way is our management education today that is inexperienced talks management. Inexperienced means that the fresh men from college doing management courses.

It is a farce claim that Business schools can fill your business experience when you are just a fresh-man from college to do management education.

This is a ploy politicians understood and started to adopt in their so called educational institutions.

Hence a lot of politicians started educational institutions today just to siphon of the poor man’s hard earned moneys of his or her parents.

That is the message one can learn from Kayani when General Kayani advised President Mr. Zardari (You are an inexperienced President !) just do not yield to wrong dispensations.

Even that suggestion worked with Mr. Nawaz Sheriff a former Prime Minister of Pakistan. Though experienced he was as Prime Minister but yet he was not experienced like Kayani. So Mr. Navaz Sheriff made a somersault of his earlier statements. This is the lesson what we learn from what experience is all about? Experience cannot be replaced just by management lectures and books please are the clear message!

If President of Pakistan Mr. Zardari yields it may be advantageous to India but that is a dangerous proposition to Pakistan itself!

Similarly Auto bailout came up with US administration, the US Congress and Senate woke up and it could not completely refuse bail out but it rationed an auto bail out because the governments themselves are verily responsible for such problems in USA.

First great mistake is committed by Fed Reserve chairman just because of his own confusion on bail out to Layman brothers, Merrill Lynch AIG and Freddy May …If these institutions sink, let them sink, for their own sins of leverages. You cannot save them and if you attempt the whole economy will be in trouble or collapse.

You can give some moratorium kind relief to the realty buyers, to breath in time of crisis, but not to realty leverages done by institutions. You cannot protect at all, even though there is a poetic need and a poetic justice in place including sympathy. Hence there shall be empathy and not sympathy please..

Coming back to our story on economics, market economies and consumption economics are not sustainable and your cosmetics will not work and thus you used and abused New Keynesian doctrines, to serve some of the same interests.

Question arises whether those who have pushed ten years ago the deregulation economics, at the time of Asian Financial crisis, for Global Financial Architecture learnt any lesson!

Stiglitz is right when he says little was done. It is imperative that we not just respond adequately to the current crisis but that ‘we undertake long run reforms’ that will be necessary if we are ‘to create a more stable more prosperous and equitable global economy’, by revisiting Keynesian policies just because in today’s context the pursuit of Keynesian policies look much more profitable than the pursuit of market fundamentalism!.

Keynes wanted not bail outs but proper regulation in place.

There is no point in mega trillion bailouts for they will not work at all and that will bring much more miseries to the humanity. This addresses the views of Amartya Sen too!

In this scenario when one looks at the national conference of Padmashree Dr. DY Patil University’s department of business management, there are lots of gaps in studies; that are to be carried out by addressing various problems faced by poverty in India.

The speakers were all insipid and never know the art of addressing the international economic business and governmental scenario except acknowledging the existing trends without any policy guidance as such.

I could learn nothing in that National conference but I was sad the students are just getting misled into wilderness!

This is not the case with this conference. Same is the phenomena of so called seminars held today under event management concepts, after all event managers might earn some pennies or money but that is not sustainable.

It is not worth conducting seminars unless one is able to provide properly researched inputs. Otherwise it is indeed a great waste of money in these critical economic situation today every where.

Businessmen look into micro angle and they fail just because they forget macro angles and perhaps they do not understand what Macro is

A good story indeed. Indeed I was also shocked when on 26/11, the Government of India actually should have declared emergency due to the ramifications of terror attack. Sorry to note the local congress led NCP government not only incipient but also a dead wood. They were interested to count how much moneys they could earn from every disaster. Such lot of so called ‘political leaders’ are emerging, like the so called educated due to so called colleges and so called “universities” deemed or regular. Every thing is commercial. Even dead bodies in mortuary are commercial these days. Doctors vie with each other to sell the Kidneys of people by luring healthy and unhealthy people to ‘donate’ their body parts. This is the real so called “economic called economic development message today’. Do anything right or wrong but just make money!

Senior Thackeray is right for insisting for emergency so that terrorists cannot move freely and they will move every where in the country, as the Police force (most of the men) are not equipped with necessary real energizing gadgets like arms or weapons. They are left at God’s wish and protection. How will they work and they all go to ‘bando-bust’ duties or some thing kind of personal body guard to one politician or the other, after all the population of politicians is increasing in very great numbers more than the births of children! How these ineffective force protect the people of the country who are the real power of the State if you say there is real democracy otherwise it is moco-cracy!

Yes it is high time, UPA should declare emergency. 6th Pay commission report should also be implemented for Military officers otherwise they will have least enthusiasm to protect the people who do not like to protect these men willing to lay down their lives for the people. What is the point to give that great enhancement to civilian officers like IAS and IPS men while they are everyday proving to be some money laundering experts in some power positions. Actually speaking 6th pay commission recommended enormous increases to these men thinking economy will just grow without stopping and that is a fallacy. People propel with demands when once give authority to you politicians. Do not talk too much but just perform. Here in Mumbai the new chief minister mr.Ashok Chavan if to survive he has to perform. First he should use his state own financial resources to arm his police and create commandos and he should not bring some kind of Terrorism Tax some body suggested. People will lose faith on him if he does taxing the man on the street. Already man on the street has very heavy burden of indirect taxes at every end. Economy all said and done is really slowing. No body is going to buy any longer the selling of economy is growing. I find about 5,33000 jobs are lost in USA. Continous realestate down fall. People find it difficult to meet both ends. Unemployed thans to recession will become sooner or latter mental wreaks. There is no point to prop up the Auto makers alone. You will have to save your human resources - people. They should not die or become mental wreaks. Ideal is that the government in the name of governance has to upgrade social security of the people who lost jobs, not by forcing the people to pay more on social security but that should be paid by the government consolidated fund to float the things meaningfully. The problem governments promoted the Leverages through financial institutions and so they should bear the brunt not the poor citizens please. Negative side is most of the employees are not professionals in their areas of work and in fact generally most of the employees fall under 'x' category people since most of the human resources fall under lazy category people. This is the snag of the employees. This snag is contributing to economic slow down, since pareto economic principle still active even in the 21st century. The positive effect of 'y' category men and women is counter balanced by negative effect of 'x' category of human resources and in this aspect the education systems world over has done very precious little. Hence education is sluggish and in fact the world over universities could have worked better to develop more and more positive 'y' category people but unfortunately the universities' men did not do specially because most of universities' men also fall into 'x' category people. So this suggests a fact existing today that the governments specializing on economies of scale failed to note this imbalance but in fact this is a serious imbalance due to governments are run by politicians who care for short term goals . Short-term ism of politicians in governments world over really relay the ineffectiveness in their approaches and the result is the citizens suffer. There is always because politicians look for short term euphoria to sustain their parties growth and they would not like to give any durable economic solutions and if they give then naturally there is a clear dead end to their survival since nobody would need them again and again in governments. It is also settled fact in management theories no manager brings in his life time more than one or two workable ideas. Every politicians is some kind of short term manager and would not able to provide long term solutions, as politicians are a class of people interested only in power and to be in power and that is their concern. So economic business cycles continue to operate time and again every time.In this kind of scenario of things central banks have to operate world over. This cannot be tided over unless universities in the world are managed at least by 75 to 80 percent 'y' kind of educationists and that is too much to expect as education is a thing that has to be given not necessarily merited individuals because politicians also as syllabic managers would stunt that education. For example we see in India there is an untiring war on 'Reservations' in education and this matter is being fought in the supreme court of India, in the name of universalizing education! As things stand so, education further getting marketed by universities and that way also well to do can aspire for this kind of pseudo education, as most of the moneyed man is not necessarily merited to get that higher education which really calls for really thinking lot of merited men only, as the basic education in the man always not rightly oriented to develop positive attitude to work on continued efforts to seek to get into universe of un-fathomed education in a limited kind of need of knowledge base which only the universities world over tries to work on as all the universities put together world over have not conquered the whole education as such and hence research over research is taking place world over.Now let us see that the human resource harnessed as human resource in well paid organizations though minuscule yet they are not art of understanding the importance of thrift and savings but they are doomed in extravaganzas not knowing whether that human resource is continually needed by the organizations. This way unproductive expenditures are growing by leaps and bounds. Litigations are growing for nothing useful, as people want to corner wealth. Cornering wealth is nothing but taking out of circulation money and keeping it idle as treasures but unfortunately, the money cannot be qualified as treasure, since money circulation only increases the growth of money supported by tangibles, as money as such is not a tangible one, as soon as the money is only some kind of commercial paper and not supported by gold or yellow metal. In fact money has to be supported by platinum in the today's conditions to maintain certain stabilities. But we find it is turning to be more and more just paper called commercial paper which is in fact a bad money.Growth of more and more paper money (Bad Money), since not supported by agricultural products will just fall over series of up and downs like sensitive stock markets. If stocks fall a certain section of the society is affected but if the real moneys standard fall, economy will collapse due to support of high interest rates as such. Banks are created to maintain a golden mean of interest rates but banks have turned out to be interest guzzlers. Real estates prices zoomed up to unrealistic levels or alternatively value of money just dwindled or terribly fallen in reference to real estates.Similarly in every area the most of the moneys / currencies are terrible collapsing and the government controls do not have much effect over these collapses. Even off-shore works out sourcing are tending to turnout to be useless and the outsourcing is not going to be any more better. Slowing down of economiesThe world is seeing slowing down in economies since over heated. Outsourcing economy is one medium design which affected the world over. Under outsourcing the companies might have reduced their expenses by way of overheads on human resources. The problem is you have outsourced in the economies of the world where the human resources are cheap for the your company. This might have given an edge to your competitive economic pricing to fight the competitive market economies for your services.
