A good story indeed. Indeed I was also shocked when on 26/11, the Government of India actually should have declared emergency due to the ramifications of terror attack. Sorry to note the local congress led NCP government not only incipient but also a dead wood. They were interested to count how much moneys they could earn from every disaster. Such lot of so called ‘political leaders’ are emerging, like the so called educated due to so called colleges and so called “universities” deemed or regular. Every thing is commercial. Even dead bodies in mortuary are commercial these days. Doctors vie with each other to sell the Kidneys of people by luring healthy and unhealthy people to ‘donate’ their body parts. This is the real so called “economic called economic development message today’. Do anything right or wrong but just make money!
Senior Thackeray is right for insisting for emergency so that terrorists cannot move freely and they will move every where in the country, as the Police force (most of the men) are not equipped with necessary real energizing gadgets like arms or weapons. They are left at God’s wish and protection. How will they work and they all go to ‘bando-bust’ duties or some thing kind of personal body guard to one politician or the other, after all the population of politicians is increasing in very great numbers more than the births of children! How these ineffective force protect the people of the country who are the real power of the State if you say there is real democracy otherwise it is moco-cracy!
Least the UPA government can do to protect the citizens of India, invoke Emergency and put the Military to take over the streets for flushing out the terrorists, yes some innocents might be suffering and we do not mind and they will be protected by law courts if law courts worth the name is possible existence after all in judges appointments, unnecessarily politicians interfere and give their largesse to their kith and kin or sycophants. Already people are in very serious trouble in these so called ‘democracy’.
Yes it is high time, UPA should declare emergency. 6th Pay commission report should also be implemented for Military officers otherwise they will have least enthusiasm to protect the people who do not like to protect these men willing to lay down their lives for the people. What is the point to give that great enhancement to civilian officers like IAS and IPS men while they are everyday proving to be some money laundering experts in some power positions. Actually speaking 6th pay commission recommended enormous increases to these men thinking economy will just grow without stopping and that is a fallacy. I can understand Sri Krishna might not be perhaps knowing the real economics and the appropriate doctrines and if he knew he is cowed down by the bureaucrats to give them the best possible treatment. Yes it is true Judges from Supreme Court should put their foot down after all their role is to protect the citizen and not the governments.
Any way the least the men in helm of this unfortunate country as neighbors of Pakistan has to resort to Emergencies on and off to flush out terrorism. They is no point to cry hoarse for paper tiger wars. War is the last resort. Hoarse cries are just to divert the attention of the people from real issues. We do not want India or Pakistan should be war torn countries and the innocent people in both the countries need to be protected by both and even by the foreign friends. Emergency mechanism will not only eliminate terrorism of all kinds after all more and more population concentration is the haven of terrorist hideouts. Politicians of this country over populate the cities and they do not create newer and newer cities for populations’ distribution. Yes you cannot force the population to run away from the place they will choose to live but if you open opportunities in creating more and more cities say every 100 miles away naturally population or demographic shits will automatically take place……G Balakrishnan,
